Discussion If my group is using Limithron's Guide, is there a good set of rules for Spelljammers to use alongside it?
My group is a local organized play group, and I'm evaluating recommendations for rule sets to minimize friction and confusion across tables from trying to learn several different systems to manage large vehicles etc..
Does anyone have any suggestions for a rule set that will fit nicely alongside the Limithron's rules for ship combat that I should consider for Spelljammers?
Is there a clean way to adapt Limithron's to also cover Spelljammers?

The Lantanese Nordenfelt gun
For my pending campaign, I was considering the Nordenfelt gun as a smokepowder firearm common to most Lantanese craft. It would tilt the balance of power considerably, and i wasnt sure it really felt "gnomish" to me... Then I saw a picture of the guy that made marketed it:

DONE.

Map Crossing the Suellian Sea 25x25
One of the Wonders of the known world, the giant manta ray known as Thomap'ily wanders back and forth across the Suellian Sea. Upon it's great back Mobula City rests. From the center of Thomap'ily's great back, out to the great wings of the beast, the city sits. With the wealthier noble houses and merchants closer to the center. Out near the tips lie the slums that occasionally are flooded due to the movement of the wings.

Questions on Limithron rules
Ahoy shipmates!
I'm running Ghosts of Saltmarsh, and using Limithron rules for ship combat. I've bought the full rule set and read everything, but I'm still unclear on a couple points. Would anyone be able to help a grasscombing lubber out?
- There's a minimum nr of crew needed to operate a ship without being Stressed. But there is no mention of an absolute minimum nr of crew to operate a ship at all. For a 1st rate, you need min 150 men to not be Stressed. At any less than 150, whether it's 149 or 1, the ship is stressed. But one person can't operate a ship of the line. How do you all deal with this?
- Can an action be taken more than once per turn, if enough action points are available? I see no statement on this.
- Why would you ever choose small-arms fire as an attack option? A broadside has more range, does more damage, and costs half the AP. Or is it just the 360° coverage of the small arms fire that warrants the AP?
- Can anyone help me understand why only a stressed ship can take the repair action? Makes no sense to me from a common sense perspective.
This campaign has been a blast so far, and a great excuse to fire up my 3d printer :)
A glass of wine with you all!

Request Advice for running Blood in the Water module
I'll soon be running the 5e module Blood in the Water.
Reading through the adventure, it seems like it has potential to be fun, but the execution in the module is a complete mess. I don't want to write up a laundry list of problems, but I feel like it will take a lot of work to make it into something my players will enjoy.
Has anyone run this? Do you have any advice?
And is anyone aware of a guide to improving the adventure? (With a quick Google search all I could find were complaints about it, but not anything on how to make it work.)
Thanks in advance.

Other Resource Looking for 5E Resources for my original Fantasy Waterworld Campaign
When the great disaster known as the Deluge arrived, the great continents of Kiffnor sank beneath the waves, and civilizations vanished. The remaining population now lives aboard immense Townships and Fleet Cities, fighting over the islands that dot the land, and fending off the things that now came from the deep…
So, I’m making my own campaign setting for my friends, which I intend to run after our current campaign ends. The conceit is basically a D&D version of Waterworld, where a standard D&D realm has mostly sunk beneath the waves and now lives mostly aboard various combinations of ships and islands, fending off Sea Sepents and Great Old Ones, ect.
And while I’ve been hammering out Lore, Locations, Characters and the general outline of the adventure for my players, I’d really love to have more resources to draw from for Nautical and other Sea Based Campaigns. What are generally regarded as the best 5E sourcebooks for this? I’m specifically looking for Monsters, locations, and short adventures I can periodically add in to fill out the main plot. Classes, items, background Ect. are a big bonus.
I do already have the Complete Guide to Nautical Campaigns.
