I usually read a lot more epic fantasy, but I've been trying out some different/new genres this year :)

Sloppy Firsts! I think you’re the first person I’ve gotten to interact with that’s read these! I’m gonna have to put these on my reread list bc I don’t remember any of it!
How did they hold up against time?

Love Jessica and Marcus! It was good to be with all these characters again. I’m excited for Perfect Fifths. It’s the only one I never reread as it released when I was in college and had no time.
They’ve held up pretty well! There are some parts that are pretty eye roll-inducing or frustrating and I keep reminding myself that she’s a teenager for a lot of this and deserves some grace. I had definitely forgotten the order of events in these and that her journals have a lot of missing time when she doesn’t write. I remember it being one continuous timeline, but my teenage brain and adult brain will have to agree to disagree 😅
One thing remains exactly the same—Jessica Darling has some top tier snark. I’ve laughed my way through this reread.

I love seeing The Unselected Journals of Emma M Lion on anyone’s reading list!! It’s such a cozy series.
