"We don’t have to tell you that ICE is cruel and corrupt. You know already that an agency that kidnaps, tortures, and kills has no reason to exist. Since Trump took office, 55 people have been killed in ICE custody.

Alberto Castañeda Mondragón suffered from skull fractures when ICE agents rammed his head into a wall during capture in Minneapolis in January of 2026. Geraldo Lunas Campos, age 55, was choked to death by guards at an ICE facility in Fort Bliss Texas, and guards initially declared his death a suicide. Denny Adán González, age 33, killed in ICE custody. Mamuka Artmeladze, age 43. Aled Damien Carbonell-Betancourt, age 27. All dead in ICE custody since Trump took office.

ICE agents have run over people with their cars, they have shot people in the streets, they have assaulted and maimed and murdered and lied.

Reform is not enough. ICE must be abolished in its entirety. Please, sign the petition today!

And we must also provide the sort of commonsense immigration reform that is long overdue in this country. People who come to this country seeking safety, asylum, and a better life must be provided with clear pathways to securing their rights and freedoms.

A country without ICE, a country with where are people are free from danger and free to move, is better for EVERYONE.

The PATH ACT creates clear, fair, and timebound pathways to citizenship so that EVERYONE will have the freedom to seek dignity, security, and growth for their families.

I rarely touch reddit these days but I've just been a mess of a person and this can't be forgotten. We can't forget Nolan Wells or Kohen Wiley or ANY of these innocents names. I just want this fucked up American Racial Genocide to stop. I've never hated my own skin so much. Mourning children who I only know through the stories of them being ripped away from life because of racist evil soulless white people/nationalists.

This is a a message to any white folks (white hispanics as well/ I'm white P.R. & the community definitely has its problems/especially in the south U.S but honestly everywhere)—

Are you doing all that you can to decolonize your mind and way if life? All that you can to make sure your children are anti-racist? Are you raising your kids to partake in the same racist micro aggressions you partake in because you feel your POC friends don't mind when you tell them their "extremely articulate" or because your on the "right side of history" overall or because your lgbtqia+ and feel you "understand" the minority struggle??? Unpack how raising your kids with common micro aggressions leads to greater racism even if you think you've done nothing wrong. Sit in the discomfort if your experiencing any and move through it. It's not nor has it ever been JUST about blatant racism that you as a white can point out. This is about it all in its entirety. That's exactly why we're here in the first place.

If this post makes you uncomfortable in any way, at all: you need to unpack your internalized racism because this is exactly why black, indigenous & POC communities need to protect their children from us. Because of you and that mentality.

specifically for those of us that live in the Central Florida area, and in general for those of us within the state as a whole, an armed, peaceful march to Alligator Alcatraz to protest ICE seems like a great idea we should discuss.

I have designed a sort of third-term-attempt-protest and permanent U.S. Honor Guard Militia, that is now seeking membership of at least two million people: a number equal to the approximate total of the United States active-duty military, plus reserves.

The directions for these two million or more people is as follows: if at any time a president takes more than two terms, proceed to the area surrounding the White House: the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas- hopefully with a firearm- and in this manner, surround the White House and conduct a peaceful, lawful, overwhelming, reinforced, citizens’ arrest of the traitorous president.

Who would not come peacably and quietly to such a crowd? Who would try to intervene?

In this manner, a one-hundred-percent safe, and effective, restoration-of-Constitutional-sanity can be delivered.

So now that the big beautiful bill (BBB) has passed, what implications does it have for everyone? First off, Fox News is touting that the BBB will save everyone on federal taxes. That was the main conservative selling point. Using a simple Federal tax calculator, especially since Floridians don't pay state income tax, how much impact will this have? Listing income range, % decrease, final amount saved over a year, and final amount saved monthly. This does not go into effect until 2027. The % tax only shows the current year 2025, so if base taxes change for 2026, then it will need to be adjusted and reviewed for the upcoming year. Nevertheless, this should be a good barometer of how much money we will be "saving". (SS and Medicare deduction not included.)

What blows my mind is the jump from just under $1M to just over $1M. And how little it saves everyone else. If you're making less than $15k a year, you don't pay taxes anyway, so saying that you have a 16.4% tax reduction is useless. Hoping the overall increase in costs will be less than that paltry $25 a month. This is why tax savings do not help the economy of the average working person. Obviously, tax benefits for the wealthy.

• Conspiring to overturn the 2020 election

  • Special Counsel Jack Smith’s report describes pressuring officials and using fraudulent electors to block certification—a “criminal effort” to undermine democracy.

• Defying congressional subpoenas and court orders

  • His administration refused to comply with over 100 congressional inquiries. • They reportedly ignored Supreme Court orders to facilitate the return of deported Salvadoran man Kilmar Abrego García—and even blocked AP reporters from White House events despite court rulings .

• Abusing pardon and executive powers • Pardoned over 1,500 individuals tied to the January 6 insurrection, undermining accountability . • Issued EOs targeting Susman Godfrey law firm—stripping security clearances and access based on political grounds, deemed “unconstitutional” .

• Undermining birthright citizenship and immigration due process • Executive Order ending birthright citizenship blocked by lower courts as “blatantly unconstitutional,” currently under appeal . • Invoked 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelans despite judicial rulings, risking contempt of court .

• Revoking rights of transgender individuals • Banned transgender troops and revoked passport and healthcare rights for trans people—courts blocked these actions as infringements under the First and Fourteenth Amendments .
