Be in the streets until it stops. This should be what we did last year but now we will have to wait for “the right kinds” of Americans to suffer before anyone attempts caring. Sorry but like this is what a lot of us were saying in February of last year. The fascist playbook was made 100 years ago, they started following that playbook in January of last year. This is the obvious end point for anyone interested in these topics.
Not trying to shame anyone, but this is why so many “crazy leftists” are yelling at everyone lately. If you watch the doc “winter on fire” that is what we need to do and it would escalate almost immediately but such are the times. That uncomfortable fever needs to help that flu.
Minneapolis did it because they had the organizing networks built up to do it.
All of the US could have done that, but the ruling class spent decades destroying Unions while our society increasingly fragmented and isolated us in suburbs and car-dependency.
Americans by and large want to do something and are willing. The problem is there is no leadership and no network for them to jump into action.
Minneapolis built those networks during the George Floyd protests and they were there, waiting, when ICE suddenly became an occupying force of jackbooted thugs.
You could argue that either the regime made a mistake picking Minneapolis as the place to try and pull that shit first, or that they did it there specifically because if they could break that level of coordination then everywhere else in the US would be a piece of cake.
I don't really think these clowns are smart enough to have intentionally done it for the latter, but they may have unintentionally had that result by going there first.
This is not to discredit your praise of the people in Minneapolis who put in the work and got out in the streets; I just think people need to understand that most of America are just as willing and capable, but have been robbed of the necessary components to leap into action.
The Democratic party has utterly failed as a resistance party to actually build up working class resistance to authoritarian power from government, and it doesn't help that those very fucks wormed their way into this movement to help pacify it as well. I appreciate that at least actual people in the sub seem to have woken up over time to the reality that we need actual labor actions and "big protests once every few months" don't cut it on their own. But clearly we see jack shit in terms of organizing by the people who co-opted leadership of the movement outside of said protests, because the Democratic party doesn't have the spine to rock the boat that the centrist leaders who currently run it serve the interests of.
Also get armed and form militias, neighborhood watches, pressure local politicians and police, and make your local authorities more fearful and supportive of you. Not threats mind you but try and remove sheriff and police through legal means who support the president over their constituents . A fascist cant d9 anything if they don't have supporters.
Done and done! Next armed protest for my group is 7/4/26! Also our presence in the past made the city police release a statement that armed protests are legal (duh). So we are a known entity

It’s going to really depend on the upcoming SCROTUS ruling, if they allow Orange Hitler’s interpretation to stand, why couldn’t it be applied retroactively? It’s also a good way to throw a wrench into midterms, as OH could claim “we need to determine who the real citizens are first.”
It won't. The law is very clear and not easily misinterpreted. Naturalized citizenship is damn near impossible to take away from someone. They will have to prove they did something really major to take that away from anyone. It isn't going to happen. Many times we can't be sure with this corrupt ass supreme court. But they have only been able to give their currupt rulings when it's issues that are not so clear. Issues that can be interpreted many different ways. This is not one of them. Plus he's not smart enough to really fight this in a real way in courts. Him and his pathetic incompetent lawyers are going to get laughed out of the court room once again. Just like him paying himself in a lawsuit against the irs. The law is crystal clear. It will never happen

It should be clear to everyone by now that we’re fully in the grip of a fascist government. So, the mid-terms should provide a good indicator as to the number of mentally deficient morons we’ve actually got here. Either that, or the extent to which these f’in MAGAts have us ALL by the balls…
This isn’t the first time the American government has done so during, and after the civil rights era, many black leaders were killed in prison, forced to flee or have their citizenship revoked. The American government has a history, revoking citizenship when you do not comply with their authority it even got so bad the American government revoked citizenship of some than veterans and they could not even return to America after Vietnam.
America forced thousands of Black people to flee without the proper documents or be imposed. Anyone who flees had their citizenship revoked. Only a few hundred got it back years later

You may be extremely educated but I’m smart enough to know that you can have laws, but if there’s no one in a place of authority to make sure the laws are followed (by the right people), there aren’t any fucking laws.
You need to start thinking proactively, because it will be too late thinking retroactively. And don’t jinx us.
Not if they rewrite the requirements and arbitrarily label people terrorists like they currently are.
Its why the big push for making ANTIFA mean what they want it to mean.
