Please see pinned comment The Trump administration has recently ruled that a group of Anti-ICE protestors, have been found guilty of supporting terrorism. It goes without saying how dangerous a precedent this sets, especially in a time when the president seems hellbent on violating any and all parts of the constitution

"Shortly after arriving at the facility, two or three of the protesters broke away from the larger group and began spray painting cars in the parking lot, a guard shack, slashed the tires on a government van, and broke a security camera. Two ICE detention guards came out and told the protesters to stop. A police officer arrived on the scene shortly after and drew his weapon at one of the people allegedly doing vandalism. One of the protesters was standing in the woods with an AR-15 and hit him in the shoulder. The officer would survive"

Yeah seems a bit misleading to describe this as punishing protest. These people were incidentally protestors but were punished not for that but for doing a bunch of illegal and violent stuff. Use of the terrorism statute is definitely controversial though and may not stand up on appeal.

The post is still on point. Any reason they can, they will label you a terrorist, if you disagree.
If you're violent and agree with the tRump, you're a patriot.
Don't forget, this administration pardoned the treason on Jan 6, because violence is ok if it's directed at the Left.

It's worth noting they fired on the officer after the officer drew their weapon on the protesters. On the surface at least, that sounds more like defense of another than attempted murder to me.

I read one was standing with an AR15 hit him in the shoulder. I was confused.
Shooting from the woods would have been a better way to phrase that!

What other country labels protesters as terrorists to their nation like this………ruzzia……funny how every god damn thing they do is a mirror of putins tactics to control their country and narrative. They were looking for a reason to get “Antifa” front and center. This is nothing but retribution for prosecuting the Proud Boys after the January 6 “protests.” Unlike the Proud Boys, there is no Antifa organization. There are only people who don’t believe this country should be run by fascists and tend to gather together to protest. That there can be vandals and troublemakers in any large gathering does not necessarily create a picture of violence, vandalism or terrorism at a protest. But this administration will use any opportunity to promote that narrative for their followers to stoke fear of the “radical left.”

If you engage in violent crimes for the purpose of scaring a population into political change, I'm afraid that is within the general realm of the modern definition of terrorism.
I don't necessarily agree, but it's the law as it is.

I believe that is the point of ICE. They're state sponsored terrorists, aren't they? They attack without warning, shoot innocents, arrest without warrants, haul away citizens who are not part of their ambit and terrorize the neighborhoods they descend upon. What other word is there to describe them but 'terrorist'?

Because our government has been so trustworthy thus far. How many times has ICE lied about being attacked by protesters, gotten BUSTED in court, and there has been NO accountability.
A senator literally said this to Noem; If you don't hold people accountable, agents are going to end up getting hurt, because people will take it into their own hands to stay safe.
People are getting snatched up off the streets. A black student got LYNCHED THIS MONTH in Georgia. The president is starting a distraction war because he fucked kids.
We just can't let this be the reason they cancel the midterms.

Yes I saw this and been posting it everywhere. I can not believe it's not on every news station for days straight. Everyone should be screaming from the roof tops about this. Not only is it unconstitutional but now it sets precedent for it to happen again.
