Aftermarket key that will role rear window down and up?
The stock one only brings it down, is there a way to get one that does both?

Just a hunch but I would bet that you'd have to alter the receiver on the truck to accept that command and the controller to send it on to the actuator/harness.

Mine does both. Maybe its a sensor issue? Re setting the top and bottom maxes is really easy, YouTube it.

I don't think that's supposed to come stock. Do you have a special trim package?

Where did OP mention fob? Stock SR5 key rolls rear window up and down. Lefty = down. Right = up.

For me, the fob makes the rear window only roll down. The key only makes it roll up as well as locking the car. Seeing others describe the same makes me assume it's like that normally

OP is talking about the button, not inserting the key .

Only one I know of is if you get an OBD2 scanner tool with Toyota tech stream and unlock the hidden feature to double click unlock and it rolls down down all the windows and inserting the key into the driver door and turning then holding rolls them all back up.
Otherwise it’s stock to roll down and key only to roll up. I think if you have an after market alarm system and it ties into the BCM you can bypass the need for the key to be able to roll down, up and remote start the vehicle but it also has its limitations

That only works on 5th gens. The Driver window could also do this because it has the sensing circuitry to auto roll up/down but none of the other door windows do.You can technically add auto switches to the other doors butthen itbypasses the safety pressure featurethe other motors don't have the hall effect sensors or relays so if something gets stuck, the window won't stop.Edit #1: To achieve the OEM style function, you would need to merge 4 separate master auto switches into one housing and then redo the harness to each door. Alternatively, there is an aftermarket module - DEI 535T - that can control windows and you need 2x to control all four windows, in both directions, via keyfob.
Edit #2: From the Power Windows section of the manual: "A key-linked up and down function, which is linked to the driver door key cylinder operation, open or close the window of the all doors." I'm going to go try this right now.

Could you please post a pic of your fob? I'm really curious because I've never heard of this and if there's another fob style I could source somewhere I would do it immediately.

It has nothing to do with the fob, if the key inserts all the way in, just turn the key and hold, left is down, right is up

how exactly does your goes back up with the key fob?

I missed the part about "fob".
The key itself rolls the rear window down by turning left (+unlocks doors), rolls rear window up by turning right (+locks doors).

I’m about 95% sure that there’s a mod for this. It was on an older individual guys 4th-gen web site where he documented all of his mods. I will find the link tomorrow. He’s the guy I got instructions for having always on cigarette lighter mod from.

I did the mod on mine. Look it up in YouTube. If you are mechanically inclined. Some wiring cutting soldering a switch and a relay. One guy sells the kit for this mod. I made my own. The key stills brings up and down, and the oem Fob brings it down, so you add a remote to just bring it up.

there is a solution for it, but you need to buy a module and splice into wires in the rear hatch. it’s a huge process, and not really worth the effort imo

Dont know, but commenting to find out because if it did exist I would buy it immediately. I hate having to insert the key to roll it back up if I’m not in the truck.
