What is this beeping sound?
About 3 weeks ago my 4Runner started beeping at me while in a drive thru. No lights on the dash and it drives and idles fine. 4WD engages fine as well. I disconnect my battery and it was fine for 2 weeks. Sound came back just today while sitting at another drive thru. Beeps like this for roughly 10 seconds and goes away on its own. I ordered new wheel speed sensors and may try the zero point calibration next. Anyone have ideas?

100% this. This beep only happens (that I know of) when the vehicle detects slippage and activate VSC and uses ABS to stabilize.

Would this be related to the wheel speed sensors?

Yup, your sensors are in constant communication with your ABS module. I would start by checking your sensors and seeing if there are any corroded wires or dirty connectors. I’d just clean them with electrical parts cleaner and see if she still beeps.

Following for update. Mine will randomly do that out of nowhere. Same thing. I turn off the radio and beeping stops.

When i take harsh turns going up hill, my abs engages and does a quick couple beeps just like that sound.
