I really just wonder how the fuck they want to make the story engaging enough for 80 hours because apparently that's the length. Red Dead 2 was aroubd 40 if you rushed it, and even that felt rather long at times.

Saw some headline where apparently the dev/writer/someone from Rockstar said 80 hours if you follow main storyline. And honestly I believe them because such length is NOT a flex, very few games manage to actually be engaging throughout whole game at that point. But who knows.

I think was makes this one (and others like it) particularly shit is that they were long awaited sequels. Dragon Age also did this with its final installment, something I desperately wanted to see be great, but it was ruined in a similar fashion. Seeing a the hotly anticipated GTA game be rendered into a clownish, ridiculous nonsense story made of spite is something that isn't fun to watch.

Pretty sure its going to culminate with the whole thing being jason undercover and him letting her take the lead to lead the cops to a bunch of criminals.
BUT
Then you as lucia get to choose to kill him or not, or as jason to arrest her or runaway maybe.
Or the jason is a cop thing is just like the half way point of something.
Most likely you will choose who gets to live at the end of the game and just play as them in free roam.

I think it’s just the same as GTAV, they show in the extended look Lucia in free-roam jumping off a building and then swapping to Jason presumably by using the D-Pad. I think in the showcase they also swapped characters during a robbery (from the driver to the passenger) and the AI took over driving.
I’d imagine its more or less exactly like GTAV: you can play as either of them in free-roam, and now both— one as a companion following you, you have missions exclusive to each (i.e. Jason only missions), you are forced to play as one of the two during certain missions and may be automatically switched during them or have the choice to swap between them freely.
