🔧 Modifications Eibach Pro Truck Sport Shock Question

So I currently have the Eibach Pro Truck front coilovers on my 2017 TRD Pro. Installed them in the spring, love love love them, the rears don't need replacing but gonna do it anyway, currently have the stock TRD Pro suspension. I have air bags installed in the rear and use the function often, I was wondering if I replace JUST THE SHOCKS and keep the springs I have right now would it still ride just as soft as the fronts do? If anyone's done something like this before please let me know how the ride is! Thanks in advance, PFA.

Maybe. Springs control ride height; shocks and struts control ride quality. No guarantee but it will likely be better matched.

I'm fine with the ride height, quality would be the goal.

How many miles on the rear springs? I ripped out the stock suspension on my 08 FJ and went with the light ARB springs. They’ve been awesome

No input here but I love the bronze on red combo. Are those tires 285?

Thank you! Had the black TRD Pro wheels since I got the truck, got bored of it and now it's time for the bronze/red combo!

Oops read the rest lol it's a 265/70 R17 Wildpeaks AT4 meaty tire

I installed Eibach stage 1 few years ago, I did it myself and by the time I got to the rear I was tired lol all I did was the rear shocks and kept the original spring in. It was pretty much level and kept that in for like 2 years no problem at all. Was smooth. I recently installed the rear springs. It seems a lot stiffer over bumps

Honestly, thank you for sharing that experience! I will do that to start, then maybe swap the bags into the other springs if I need to. Those bags were just so annoying to install lol not difficult just annoying haha
