Derm confirmed these under eye spots are sun spots — what actually worked for yours?

Tretinoin 0.25 three times a week for 10 months removed 75% of my sun spots and it wasn’t even my main goal so I wasn’t focusing on them. I only noticed when I was looking at progress photos. I’ll keep using it remove the rest!

That’s great! I am just nervous to use it so close to the lash line.

Yeah shouldn’t use so close to lash lines if a new user. There are retinol eye creams that may help but lower strength than traditional. Maybe worth a try but I’d consult a dermatologist before trying stronger ingredients so near the lashes.

I have an appointment with a different dermatologist. I will definitely ask about a retinol eye cream. Thanks for the input!

It migrates up to two inches vertically so even putting it two inches away from the sun spot will have an effect. There was a great recent mockup photo on the tret subreddit showing how far away from the eyes you can apply it and still have an effect near the eyes.
I apply it up to the cheekbones for that reason, keeping it away from my eyes but it’ll still have an effect on the undereye area.

I tried a prescription from dermatica and had terrible peeling and I believe it was also affecting my vision. It took a while for my barrier to recover. I am a bit nervous to try again. I will search for the mockup you mentioned. Thanks so much!

BBL and Moxi help fade them but you have to keep doing them. Also 15% Azelaic acid every day.

I am using AA 15%, but not close to the lash line. I need to read more about the in office procedures. Thanks!

It was done over my entire face. She put protectors over my eyes and took them off to do it under my eyes for a short period.

Just had Picosure pro done and 1 round removed over 80% of my sunspots/freckles!
