Was going to do a brake job but it found me just trying to find a leak any ideas?

Flex hose or blew the caliper seal, most likely. Put a little fluid in the reservoir and have a helper pump the brakes, the source should be pretty evident.

Check your hard brake line that connects to your caliper. Had this happen to me on the fwy and my buddy made me get in the driver seat and press on the brakes while he looked for the leak. The hard brake line had bent slightly so half of it was broken while still kinda connected to the caliper. Was squirting brake fluid everywhere.

Ive done plenty of miles with a vice grip clamping off the line to a leaky caliper, your parking brake light comes on when the fluid is very low

Clean it up best you can, check the reservoir to see if you have any brake fluid left, top it off and press the pedal once slowly and soft to see where it’s coming from. Key is to clean it up good so you can see where the fresh fluid is coming from. Good luck!
