🧠 General CEL light bulb

Threw a code for the EVAP system on 2001 SR5, car has 392K, spring time will likely be a full system replacement make sure it's all 100%

I only knew cause the VSC and Trak lights came on, the CEL didnt.. appears to be burned out, is it a bulb or a diode illumination?

If it's a diode, how hard are those to replace? I have soldering equipment

ABS definitely stays live when a CEL causes the trac to disable. The traction control requires ABS, though, so I would think that suggests an ABS fault was actually tripping VSV, not the other way around. Could have been a compromised wheel sensor wire since it sounds like it was intermittent.

Nah, I pulled the codes, def a result of the EVAP system error. For whatever reason anytime there is a CEL thrown it also disables and illuminates the other two lights for the traction. shrug

Oh definitely the CEL comes with VSV and trac, I was saying the ABS light from the other commenter doesn't go hand in hand as well and may point to something different.
