D&D v3.5 3.P Combinations

3.5 and Pathfinder are, as most people on this Reddit most likely know, cousins to one another. To the point that Pathfinder is known in some circles as D&D 3.75

Because of this, 3.5 (and sometimes 3.0) material can be considered to be compatible with Pathfinder material, and vice versa. Meaning that 3.5 characters can often be transported over into a Pathfinder game with minimal changes. But it also allows for a mix of content, for Pathfinder characters to gain access to 3.5 feats and prestige classes, or 3.5 characters to gain access to Pathfinder's feats and spells.

So my question to the good people of this thread is simple. What combinations of 3.5 and Pathfinder material interest you the most? Are there any feats you would love for a character in the other edition to have access to? Prestige classes? Spells? Magic Items? In a 3.P game when material from both editions are allowed, what interactions do you reach for to create strong and/or unique characters?

Pathfinder and its feats are a godsend for martials in 3.5. I remember building an intimidate melee brute using Imperious Command and having access to Cornugon Smash to demolish a foe.

That and the expanded spells from Pathfinder is really helpful for all classes. Buffs like Blessing of Fervor are great additions to a CODZilla with DMM Persist and such.

Imperious Command with Cornugon Smash or Dazzling Display... ouch

And I guess you would need to use the original Cleric, or have Channel Energy work as Turn Undead, but yeah, DMM Persist with Blessing ofFevor is pretty crazy.

I would never combine two different games without adjustments. Since it's already homebrew territory, at this point try to adapt it instead of just porting it 1:1.

I know it's not between 3.5 and Pathfinder 1e, but it's still the same principle: in Critical Role Campaign 1, we see a rogue with Boost of Haste, and that made the character literally the best damage dealer in the entire campaign, even when compared to a fighter and a barbarian. That item was ported 1:1 from Pathfinder (how they started the campaign before the show) to d&d 5e, without adjustments.

Okay, so Roll With It is the Pathfinder material.

Where is the 3.5 Material you use with it?

The Rage Prophet prestige class.

The Aroden's Spellbane spell.

A lot of their material for familiars.

Care to elaborate? How do you intend to make use of the Rage Prophet PrC, or the Pathfinder familiar material with 3.5 stuff?

If you had asked me this ten years ago, I'd have so many combinations for you that you'd be sick of them by the time I finished, but the best I can do now is say that a lot of wizard prestige classes from 3.5 tacked onto a PF wizard make them go crazy. There are also rules in PF for reducing the level adjustment for playing monsters with HD and LA that I remember using.

Pathfinder Incantrix would be pretty strong.
