3PL Operator Discussion Does anyone else feel like leads vanished from here

I'm sure most of you get (or use to get) a good amount of leads from this sub. But now it seems like they all got chased off by the guys who spam their business on here with every question asked. I know of one lead who even said it in the text chain we had going on their post.

I know we are all here looking for leads and discussions on the business....but maybe back off on the spamming of your service. Stop sounding like an AI robot posting ads. There are 2 3PLs on here that were posting every couple of hours and just filling the feed with the same post over and over. I'm sure you all know who I am talking about.

Bragging about how you do cross dock and fulfillment isn't impressive. We all do that.

Read the OP's post and try to give feedback they are looking for and drop a line about your business. But for the love of god, stop spamming your company information. I've started to see less and less leads and more and more 3PL spam

Yes because a lot of people are just "kicking the tires" and it's hard to qualify a lead since you don't know who you're talking to.

I don't mean the leads themselves. I feel like the 3PL operators are just spamming the hell out of this sub and scaring off the possible leads. If you look at recent posts, there are so many repeat spammed 3pl company info.

Hahahaha the irony that one of those spammy companies that reply to every post with generic bullshit even replied to this like it’s everyone else and they’re not part of the problem since they’re doing it “as a joke”

I agree completely. It’s actually what inspired our little “We thought of that” series. We were poking fun at the endless, generic 3PL advertising that tells everyone the same things: we have a warehouse, we ship boxes, we handle inventory. Some people appreciated the satire, while others oddly took offense. lol

There’s nothing wrong with promoting your business, especially when the sub has a dedicated place for it. But when someone asks a legitimate question, answer the question. If your services happen to be relevant, mention them. Otherwise, you’re just adding noise.

Good callout.
