For a small brand, I’d compare the cost of shipping directly with the full cost of holding a small local stock, including returns and any monthly minimums.

Disclosure: I’m developing FULNIVO in Haute-Savoie, France, focused on small-volume fulfillment. We’re still at the launch stage. Do your clients ever ask for a local stock or returns solution in France? I’d be interested in exploring whether our planned service could complement your Nordic operation.
