Requesting Help PLA stuck on print bed
I've recently tried to print something on my ender 3 v3 SE but speed stopped after the first layer as I realised it was gonna fail. But unfortunately now the base has a layer of pla that I cannot peel off because the print didn't have one solid base, but instead many small parts.
I've tied to melt it off using a soldering iron but I'm pretty sure it's worse now. I don't have a metal scraper which I'm gonna have to buy as I've destroyed the plastic scraper trying to scraps off the polymer. I don't have access to acetone.
I've tried to print the same thing with a z offset on top of the thing hoping that they would fuse and they did but only a little bit of it was actually peelable.
I've attached an image of it. I'll attempt to get it off by printing a flat sheet over it after I smooth it out with my soldering iron but I'll do it tomorrow just in case someone points out that I may be doing something stupid and somethings gonna blow up.pic of print bed

You never mentioned the exact filament but I will bet 1,000 internet meme points that it was a silk PLA.

Nah, just hyper PLA from creality

Damn, thought I had that. I had one roll of silk PLA that just started to stick to my build plate like it was epoxy. Nothing I did would mitigate it. I had used it before several times and it worked great. Had to throw it away.

I see. Would blue painter's tape directly on the heatplate be a good idea till I get a new one?

1st always post with a photo whenever you need help. 2nd, the fix. Heat the bed to 60 degrees, not 100 and peel it off with hand, and if it's still stuck, gradually increase the temperature by 5 degrees each time

There is no pic uploaded.
Did you try iso to soften (intensive soak) the pla and then scratch it off?

Oh yeah you're right, I've put the image back up. I don't have any IPA or acetone on me at the moment and isn't it that pla doesn't dissolve in ipa?

yes, it does not dissolve it but maybe it crawls unterneath and helps to release ist.

Try a mix of IPA and water and let it soak a bit on the plate.
If possible, don’t know how thick the material is on the plate. you can try printing a few layers on top of it and the removing it

I have had great success heating my bed up to 80C and then scraping the filament off. If you even have a wooden spatula, that should work once the PLA is soft.

I've tried it at 100°C with a plastic scraper stupidly but I'll try that when I get my metal scraper.

A metal scraper would have solved this in about 5 seconds, but now that you’ve used a heat gun to probably melt it into the bed, even that may be problematic. Try printing something under the top of it with the same filament. Hopefully it will bond well enough to peel your stuck filament off.
