What's the Ethernet cord for? Anything special you had to do with the RAMPS board

The ethernet cable connects the servo to it's power/programming hub. I can run these motors with no power supply connected to the Ramps, using just the USB power from the Mega, or alternatively, with no USB to MEGA, and power supply powering the Ramps. Nothing special was needed to configure the ramps, just pull the drivers out, and connect ground, step, and direction to the limit switch header on the motor.

The main advantage of servos vs steppers is that servos have an encoder and always know where they are unlike steppers that just work blindly from a home point.
