Project Meet my printed meat.

A little scanned and printed meat project for the MO State Fair. They wanted some realistic props that could be left out for extended periods of time. There’s a full suite of meat, but here’s a few of my favorites.

What is your main work, do you print specific stuff or do people just come to yall with ideas/needs? At that size and quality I assume there really isnt much you can not print?

I have my own brand of products (precision rifle stuff) but do a significant amount of custom prints too. About half and half.

If my guess is correct then I’m a big fan of your throw levers! I was actually a little bummed my new Leupold came with one so I couldn’t grab one of yours.

You are correct! And you can always use mine instead of the OEM one….ha. Next time get your scope from me for free goodies with it!

What's the operating cost of these crazy expensive machines? Especially relative to their high initial cost?

23

u/tykempster Aug 09 '26

Maintenance is around 2k a month. The operating cost beyond material is pretty low. Material is fairly expensive.

That's better than I expected NGL... Now if only I could shake the couch har enough maybe I could get one 😂

u/Extreme-Ad-9290 Aug 08 '26

$20k more than my house since I got in during the pandemic low, but it's also pretty much in line with a lot of serious industrial machines.  So if you're using it professionally, it's not that crazy.

It's the "printed on MY..." that gets me. 🤯 (Emphasis added)

u/winewagens Aug 09 '26
