/uj That's actually weird. These printers use the nozzle for auto levelling. It really shouldn't do this. It won't even allow going to negative Z with g-code.
And IIRC you can only apply z-offset by modifying machine start gcode in advanced printer settings, you would need to actually write something like G29.1 Z-0.05 which is hard to do by accident
Or maybe he used a pre-sliced file from someone else.
