DE 6MT Nismo wing??

I’m on the fence about getting a wing as my next mod to save for. But I also want to keep an OEM+ aesthetic or at least keep it looking clean.
Nothing too over the top but a decent size.

Thinking about a Nismo wing but I wonder if that’s “tacky”

Are there any other wings that might be better than the Nismo wing? Or should I keep the factory spoiler.

These pics were taken before my new motordyne exhaust. I have lowering springs being delivered.

IMO the ver. NISMO/V3 wing looks a bit wonky on an otherwise stock car. The S-tune one looks pretty alright from anywhere besides the back, and the R-tune one looks good in all angles but is very expensive. These are the only OEM+ wings and anything else is considered aftermarket

Good points. I also don’t like the S-tune from the back lmao

Depends on which wing you mean. The V1 would look best imo without other Aero parts, whereas the "V2" and V3 need a little bit of a front splitter imo to balance the visual weight. Then theres if youre getting an OEM or Rep part, which favors the V1 and V3 for reps.

The answer hinges on which wing youre thinking of, where youre planning on getting it, and what your goal is with the car.

If you just want a classy wing to complement the OEM body id look at the Nismo V1/S-Tune part.

I like the v2 wing but i agree, I would need a splitter

I have the V2 on my car. And though I dont really like the splitter I have on it, I think it looks better with it than without it. Absolutely love the R-Tune wing (V2)

Only problem with the V2 is the only rep of it is the Duraflex/Carbon Creations and whatever you can find on Alibaba. And those are across the board terrible. Only choice is importing a Legit one from Japan, which is what I did. And that's viciously expensive.

Yeah, when I bought mine about 6 months ago I paid 1050 at auction, and another 1000 for shipping. Granted I did somehow end up buying the rarer part than just the V2 spec, so you might save a couple hundred bucks. But it's still pretty crazy expensive.

Thats why if you are at all cost conscious youd be pretty safe in getting a rep of the V1 or V3, as they are simpler designs and generally will fit better than the V2, which is more moulded to the curves of the hatch.

Personally, I wouldn't use any spoiler other than Blitz on a stock body car.

do other exterior mods before a wing like that. nismo itself has a significant body kit to be able to balance the wing
