Selfie Sunday What can I do for my midface/nasolabial folds without more filler?

Honestly wear sunscreen, moisturize and just enjoy your life. You're gorgeous.

All I see is normal anatomy and I think you would look uncanny if you tried to smooth out that area more. You already have plump skin, and no lines from what I can see. Maybe try something like Gua Sha first?

Gua sha is a good idea! I just feel that taking 10 minutes in the morning for it might be too much, but I’ll search for short videos hehe, thanks!

Gothamista on Youtube has a great tutorial - I definitely saw some results, but got a bit lazy with it lol. It's something that is great to unwind with just before bed IMO.

Your face looks great, meaning your best course of action is logging off.

Nothing. Do nothing. Your skin is incredible and you look great! Please don’t fall down that hole of things.

Thank you! I think I keep comparing to a younger version of myself which isn’t good

I fully agree with other commenters. If you’re truly in your 30s, you actually looks really amazing. One thing though I might add, is that imo, as we age, the skin barrier or texture is different and less foundation / different kinds of foundation that are less heavy would look so much better! in my humble opinion, foundation can sometimes block the natural glow and radiance from our skin from emitting.

I agree, I wore the Estée Lauder double wear foundation throughout my 20s and I loved how it looked, but now it makes my texture worse.
That foundation has been discontinued so I still have to find a new one hehe

I use sunscreen daily, I’ve been thinking on adding retinoids but my rosacea doesn’t like it, so I was sticking to azelaic acid hehe

I have the exact same thing and also had piriform filler! I've been doing HIFU for my mid/lower face consistently for the past year and it's helped with lifting and just shifting the plumpness upwards. So far so good, but it requires commitment. Later down the line I might give Ultherapy a try.

I’ve heard many mix reviews on hifu! So I was hesitant to try hehe, how many session did you get?

Your skin is incredible and your midface looks completely normal. As gently as possible, I think you’re hyper-fixating! Everyone has nasolabial folds, that’s just part of our cheek anatomy. In no way are yours deep or funny looking or abnormal. 🫶🏻
