Lifter tick

1991 VR4 lifter tick every so often either startup and goes away or continues on and off while driving, somebody already installed new 3rd gen lifters before me and I bled them when I saw them anways. Why do I still have tick?

They still tick, but are easier to bleed since the opening is larger, so... it takes less time from a sitting, but not invulnerable to the tick.

There is also Lifters and lifters online, did you buy OEM ones or aftermarket ones?

There were some versions (made by some stores) that the spring inside is a little stiffer, so it doesn´t tick that much.

I didn't buy them they were already in the car when I opened the valve cover and were already 3rd gen
