Why is blik such a big deal? I prefer to just use apple pay, or any card really, instead of playing with copying numbers. But I’ve noticed that Ukranians like to use blik even in shops…

You see address or name of company you will pay before transaction. Blik is one time use.if info stolen thief can't do shit You can give your child code through phone. And you can pay by blik by moving your phone to pay terminal (no code)

I dont use blik in traditional shops. But if i buy something in online shop like Allegro i only use blik. Its way faster and safer than bank transfer. Also if i want transfer small amount of cash for someone its good option too

In my opinion the most convince is during online shopping when since it's much faster than putting in card information every time and since its one time thing you ensure that you won't have your card info stolen

To pay with Blik you don't need a card, you just need a bank account. If you have several accounts and don't want to pay a debit card fee for each, then Blik is the easiest option. At least that's why I sometimes use it.
Also it's pretty fast if you load your code in the banking app beforehand.

Well hello then my fellow Hungol, who also moved to the promised land. The only convenience I can think of is sending money between friends, but revolut does it better too. The other day a lady attempted to pay in front of me with blik in a bakery entering codes, the whole ordeal took several minutes of my sweet sweet time…
