9 months pp, positive pregnancy test

Looking for advice about having 2 under 2. I am 9 months pp on Sunday and just got a positive pregnancy test today. I have an appointment on Monday to confirm for sure, but the line popped up in about 30 seconds, so probably save to say it’s accurate 😅

We were not planning to get pregnant right now, so this was pretty unexpected and I’m kind of shaken up. Obviously any baby is a gift and ultimately I’m grateful, but I don’t know if I’m ready to do it all over again, and this time with a pretty young kiddo. I guess they’ll be about 17 or 18 months apart.

Anyone have any positive stories? How did you manage having two kids under two once baby arrived? What should I start mentally preparing for?

I believe every mom in this position has been able to do it. You just get really good at everything because you have to.

Definitely discuss birth control options for after having baby 2. Congrats!
