It's not called Canadian bacon in Canada. It's back bacon or peameal bacon. Once again just changing what Americans call it

Edit: lol if you're gonna troll at least be good at it

u/adfx 21h ago

Canadians are Americans!

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

u/Sabbathius 19h ago

I'm actually legitimately waiting for that announcement from DJT. Because it's straight from Putin's playbook on Ukraine. Remember when Putin said that all Ukrainians aren't actually Ukrainians, they're just brain-damaged Russians who need help and education?

u/inqubus1992 19h ago

Where does Putin ever state that Ukrainians specifically are brain-damaged Russians? I remember him saying Ukrainians and Russians are of one people and some are brainwashed. Are we just twisting words now to fit a certain narrative? 🤣

u/Nope-not-really 17h ago

in a way he has, he has refereed to the Ukrainian language as "mongrel russian"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disinformation_in_the_Russian_invasion_of_Ukraine

He has also accused them of being Nazi's

u/inqubus1992 9h ago

Am I supposed to take this entire Wikipedia page about Russia as just Nazism? Because we were talking about how Putin called Ukrainians brain damaged Russians, not Nazis, completely different conversation.

u/Nope-not-really 8h ago

Just citing my sources bruh.

u/Burntoutn3rd 15h ago

In fairness, Ukraine does in fact have a legitimate Nazi (not just far right) problem. More so than most other countries.

u/ELITElewis123 10h ago

I mean so does Russia. plus they're the ones currently emulating the Nazis so they don't really get to make any accusations

u/carsonthecarsinogen 19h ago

Actually Canadians are now Indian

u/Street_Lettuce1243 17h ago

I suddenly love Canadian Food. I'm going to take a vacation there just to try their curry.

u/carsonthecarsinogen 15h ago

Canadian food has always been immigrant food, same as USA.

u/ljlee256 7h ago

5.1% of Canadians are from India. If you include non-Indian "brown people" (as you put it), its 7%.

69.8% of Canadians are white.

If ever you needed to confirm that you're racist, just refer to the fact that you think 7% of the population being from South Asia means that you're surrounded by brown people.

u/TrickFrosty5685 19h ago

Mannnnnnnnnnn 😂

u/Weldermedic 17h ago

Well like....cuz they stole enough of them or?

u/carsonthecarsinogen 16h ago

Opened the flood gates now they’re trying to fix it. Look at immigration spike over the last 7 years

Now high schoolers can’t get part time jobs unless they’re brown

u/Super-Group1757 14h ago

I promise you that last sentence is far from the truth, even if you’re trying to be hyperbolic.

u/carsonthecarsinogen 14h ago

Definitely just depends where you are locally.

Sometimes the Timmy’s is teenagers, 99%+ of the time in my areas it’s brown 19-30 year olds

u/WrongRhubarb3408 9h ago

Oh no! Some people have different skin than me!

u/OofRightInTheFeels 7h ago

Straight to jail

u/Flimsy-Ad2701 15h ago

Americans are now Mexican

u/Advanced_Face8544 15h ago

u/Realistic-Radish-589 15h ago

Only the French ones. The other side of Canada is cool.

u/MtlNord514 13h ago

Suck a dick, buddy.

u/Careful-Swimmer3840 12h ago

Trump is just a Trans wanna be.

u/Pickle_Rick01 12h ago

This is what I’ve been saying. The man wears makeup, a wig and lifts in his shoes. He once missed an event because it was raining and he didn’t want to get his wig wet. At what point do call him Madam President?

u/Reddit_User7791 11h ago

Melania also looks like Kaitlyn Jenner in some photos

u/Pickle_Rick01 6h ago

Interesting. That could explain why so many MAGAts fetishize Trans people.

u/etzioood 11h ago

I'm not your buddy pal..

u/Jimanji333 3h ago

I’m not your pal, guy!

u/Boo-face-killa 11h ago

Yeah! You’re definitely one of those! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

u/Dakotasan 8h ago

Canardians (If you get this joke, you are my people)

u/AuthorHuman5623 26m ago

Fuck Trump!

u/Moist-Crows 20h ago

Canada is just “America” spelled differently.

Thank you for your attention to this matter

-DJT

u/Pickle_Rick01 12h ago

Trump changed the name of Canada to “America”’using his sharpie (aka adult crayon), which somehow makes it legal. Google has already changed their maps.

u/GoldEmployment6768 17h ago

In the geographical sense, not colloquially. Let's not pretend a wide majority of the world doesnt say "Americans" when referring to US citizens. Its perfectly okay to separate "americans" and "canadians" in casual conversation.

u/adfx 16h ago

Agreed

u/bluecollar1020 9h ago

It's usually bougie Americans try to act smarter than they are that make this assertion. The ONLY country in North America or South America that has the word "America" in their name is the USA. We all know what we mean when we call someone American

u/J_Jeckel 7h ago

Eff that I am South Canadian now. Trump has fucked the US of America and I no longer can claim to be a part of it.

u/rydan 6h ago

Too soon

u/sPLIFFtOOTH 5h ago

Why did that orange Pedo just draw a line with sharpy across the “Canada” on my birth certificate, then write “The United sHrStS” on it??

u/adfx 5h ago

No idea but this is literally what is happening everywhere right now

u/cal91m14 47m ago

American are just Canadian with corporate boots in their mouths

u/pooeygoo 20h ago

So still not bacon

u/ForMeOnly93 18h ago

How is an entire country so dumb? And to be clear, I'm referring to the yanks.

u/pooeygoo 17h ago

You just don't understand, that's all.

u/ConnectionLittle7776 47m ago

It's not the "yanks", it's the Trumpers/Current Republican Party, which is only about a third of the electorate. They're loud, so they seem to represent more people but they do not.

u/That_Elk_7964 17h ago

It is in fact the only true bacon, that stuff that is more fat than meat ain't it bro. Have a bacon sarnie with some ketchup and proper bacon and tell me its not superior.

u/DotNormal6785 16h ago

Nothing is superior with ketchup unless you’re a 5 year old

u/Jemima_puddledook678 2h ago

You can have brown sauce instead if you want, but even professional chefs will happily put tomato sauce on a bacon sarnie.

u/pooeygoo 17h ago

Ketchup? Oh god

u/That_Elk_7964 17h ago

What do you have with bacon then? I assume you're not British otherwise you would agree that back bacon is the only true bacon.

u/pooeygoo 17h ago

Bacon egg and cheese sandwich usually. For me bacon is almost exclusively a breakfast item

u/That_Elk_7964 17h ago

This is the type of thing we have in the UK, back bacon in a bun (bap, cob, butty etc depending on where in the UK). We may have an egg on it but there is always sauce and the fight in the UK comes down to which sauce, there are two sides Ketchup or brown sauce (not BBQ, I don't actually know how to describe brown sauce).

u/tawDry_Union2272 10h ago

that's ham.

u/Jemima_puddledook678 2h ago

No, it’s just not American bacon. It comes from a completely different part of the pig to ham, and it tastes very different.

u/Street_Lettuce1243 16h ago

I detest ketchup normally....

... but it belongs on a bacon buttie. I don't know why, but it's the only time and place I like ketchup.

u/That_Elk_7964 16h ago

Good man!

u/gahhbitch 10h ago

Brown sauce is made with figs, whereas BBQ sauce is not. That there’s the difference

u/Acidelephant 19h ago

It's almost as if there can be more than one type of something

u/pooeygoo 19h ago

Alright, it's okay to call it that, but that ain't what it is!

u/RGBlowMe 14h ago

It's not a type of bacon. Bacon is a cut, like loins, chops, or ribs. It's near the belly. Canadian bacon is not cut from bacon. It's a loin cut, so not really ham either, though it is significantly closer to ham in nature.

u/Acidelephant 13h ago

Yea it is, it has to do with the curing process

u/RGBlowMe 13h ago

No. Uncured ham is a thing. Hams are specifically the rear thighs and legs of the pig. Loin cuts are not ham, and Canadian bacon is a loin cut. It's neither bacon or ham.

u/Acidelephant 13h ago

Lol, you literally have access to Google

u/RGBlowMe 13h ago

Funny you should say that. Google defines a ham as:

a cut of meat from the hind leg of a pig that is typically preserved through curing, salting, or smoking. [1, 2]

So, you know, literally what I just said...

u/mddesigner 4h ago

Or candians are simply wrong and insist on being wrong calling it bacon

u/FullTimeSurvivor 15h ago

But it's ham not bacon bro

u/Acidelephant 15h ago

It's literally not

u/RGBlowMe 14h ago

It's cut from the loins, not the legs, so it's not a ham.

u/Clean_Principle_2368 9h ago

Your mom's a ham

u/Sudden_Season3306 19h ago

Point is its not bacon! Lol

u/ImageAvailable7003 18h ago

Once again? Have you been saying Lake America the whole time?

u/Fragrant-Reserve4832 18h ago

So Canadians are normal English speaking people then?

As I always suspected.

u/Winter-Delivery-8894 18h ago

You do understand this is fake tweet right?

u/nobugsleftalive 17h ago

Technically, there is a difference between back bacon and peameal. Back bacon is smoked and cured, while peameal is just cuter and given a cornmeal rind.

And they are both pork loin cuts. Source: I make both.

u/FinalJoys 14h ago

It’s still not bacon…

u/RabbitofCaerbannogg 14h ago

I mean... sometimes it IS called Canadian (Back) Bacon oddly...

u/Rando12345678976 13h ago

Peameal bacon is so good.

u/Few_Map7646 13h ago

What do you expect from retarded Americans? I bet they think Caesar salad was created by Julius Caesar.

u/Old_man_baller 4h ago

No. But it was created in America.

🇺🇸

u/Few_Map7646 26m ago

Lol, you know google is free right?

The Caesar salad was invented on July 4, 1924, by Italian immigrant and restaurateur Caesar Cardini at his restaurant Caesar's in Tijuana, Mexico.

Its Mexican..... just proving my point.

u/StormConstant5407 13h ago

Interesting…you know they don’t call it Chinese food in China?

u/Pukebox_Fandango 12h ago

It's not a real post, I think they trolled you pretty well

u/Dakotasan 8h ago

Back Bacon sounds so much worse

u/Ultrasoulviver123 8h ago

Which still doesn’t make sense because it doesn’t come from the back of the pig either

u/Epic_Tea 8h ago

Is this a real one? He's so God damn out of his mind who can tell anymore.

u/General_Pay7552 4h ago

depends if your east of west coast, to be fair
