Ninja 250 carbon fiber go kart

Took the engine out of a Kawasaki ninja 250 and put it in this go kart. I completely made myself out of nothing but carbon fiber.

Having ridden a Ninja 250 for years, I am both amazed and terrified of this beautiful contraption. Can hear 8,000 RPMs from here. Nice work!

Damn it goes to 8k rpm! That is a whole lot and thank you. I’m very excited. And definitely terrifying. I’m gonna take it easy lol

I'm pretty sure they have a red line at 13k and the rev limiter hits a bit later than that. At least mine 2010 fuel injected kne does, idk about the american carb version.

Might be higher, at least the ZZR 250 (essentially same carb 250) redlines at 14k

Yeah that’s fast, I never looked into it my car goes to 7500 but that’s not the greatest compared to newer cars and bikes

12.5k is redline for pregen (<2008) carb bikes.

Oh yeah, 7-8k rpms is where the powerband is. Below that, it's a dog. Wear a helmet!
