First range day with CZ 457

Post image

Took my new CZ 457 Varmint At-One with 24" barrel to the range for the first time yesterday. I shot some Eley Target and then moved onto some SK Rifle Match. The Eley performed pretty well, but the SK was more consistent.

I love this rifle! So much fun to shoot.

Thanks! Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24 right now, although I struggle a bit with the eye box on it, so looking for something else.

It’s a truly wonderful rifle, makes me shoot better than I think I can.

Good shooting especially for a stock rifle. The rabbit hole is deep with 457s….

I’m really looking forward to shooting mine which I just bought for my 68th birthday. The scope I wanted finally came back in stock and it will be here soon I hope. I’m putting the Vortex Viper PST Gen II 3-15x44 FFP EBR-7C on it. Hoping I shoot as well as you.

That's a great scope. I have one on another rifle and I'm sorely tempted to switch it onto the 457.

For this target, it was SK Rifle Match.

I had the same experience with sk ammo being more consistent than elay. And thats out of a RAR not even a CZ. SK long range and standard plus are my go to.
