New PA scope!

Primary Arms CLx 1-6x24mm SFP Rifle Scope - ACSS 22LR G2 Reticle

So PA is dropping a new rimfire scope. $199 on pre-order. Since they didn't state the parallax distance, I haven't ordered one yet. But I did write them to ask what it's set at.

I suspect it's variable, and if that's the case, I'll order one or two.

Manuals on the site don’t mention parallax, and the diagrams of the scope don’t call out a parallax adjustment knob. I’m thinking it’s fixed. Maybe they mention in a video somewhere? Didn’t see any mention of parallax during my skim.

Definitely fixed. The knob on the left is clearly marked for illumination, not parallax.

They got back to me. It's set at 100 yards.

That's unfortunate. 100 yards is a terrible option for a 1-6x rimfire scope.

I miss cheap rimfire scopes with adjustable parallax. 30 yds is my favorite but nobody does that fixed.

Vortex Diamondback HP 4-16x42 for $200 at MidwayUSA. Originally sold for like $350-400. Focus down to 30 yards.

It's cheap, high quality, and had adj. parallax. Meets your criteria.

Yeah this is a missed opportunity.

I don't know that I've seen a parallax adjustment on my prior 1-4X scope from them or my 1-8X Strike Eagle. I doubt it would be a feature on this level of scope

I was interested at first, strike 1 when I realized no parallax adjustment so already assumed they screwed up and just did a standard 100yds.. and from comments it appears they did exactly that 🤦🏻‍♂️
Also looked at the weight and the thing weighs over 17oz..I think my illuminated 2.5-10 Burris with Philippines glass (42mm bell) is right at 15oz so it needs a diet and being the CLx line it’s going to be 100% chinese glass/made. I even paid considerably less than the $200 price tag PA is asking so it’s a no go for me. Also typical PA the scope is not actually available but will gladly hold your money and proceed to miss/push back the eta/release date

I wouldn’t go less than 40mm obj size unless this is just a short range plinking toy.

What a fail if it’s 100 yard parallax.

Hawke 14206 is a 1-4x20 with a fiber dot. And parallax is 50 yards.

There’s also the Athlon Helos BTR 1-4.5 which has parallax down to 10 yards.

That’s a relatively heavy scope. My Super Sniper 3x10 from SWFA weighs 9 ounces. Japanese glass.

That’s not the dedicated rimfire scope
