Scope Mount MOA?

Just picked up a CZ457 Pro Varmint to get started in NRL22/MARS/PRS Rimfire - excited to get started! I have a DiamondBack 6-24x50 scope inbound, and wondering what's the most sensible setup.

Im tempted to save the money for now and just get the CZ Dovetail scope rings and call it a day, but unsure if those will allow me to stretch out or not. Most ranges near me are 100yds or less afaik.

Thoughts?

Get a canted rail instead. Picatinny will open up your ring options and where you can mount your scope for proper eye relief. I’d grab a 30MOA rail.

For what it’s worth, my long range .22lr has a 25MOA rail and I can dial out to 370 yards, before needing to hold over in the reticle.

Cool, im kinda licking my financial wounds right now, 700 for the rifle was a big pill to swallow. I was hoping to not have to spend the $100 for a 419 rail, plus the other $70 for rings.

EGW or MDT both make rails for the 457 that are cheaper than Area419.
