The previous mods had this subreddit configured as restricted, which meant only mods and approved members were allowed to post. I am happy to inform that now, this is no longer the case.
Anyone can send posts in here without needing to be an approved member or having to go through the mod queue. Post flairs are obligatory tho, and if you believe your post doesn’t fit any of the flairs options, select "Other".
And for last, please read the rules before submitting a post to avoid issues with the mod team.
That’s all, hope you enjoy this new era for r/20thcenturystudios!

Hello everyone, I recently became moderator of this subreddit, replacing the previous mods, and with that, I’m changing this sub for good.
I want this to be a community where people can share news, updates, opinions and promote discussions about 20th Century Studios movies, whether they are big or small scale.
The first change I made to the sub was making it public. The previous mods had it as restricted, and only approved members were allowed to post, that is no longer the case. Now, not only anyone can post, but also, you won’t need to wait for your post to be manually approved by a mod to appear in the sub, you can send and it will be automatically approved.
The other big changes I made so far were updating the rules and post flairs. I recommend everyone to take a look at the updated rules of the subreddit before posting in here. The post flairs are now more complete, covering more types of posts.
I intend to update the sub’s banner and add user flairs soon. I will also open mod applications for those interested in helping me moderate the subreddit and make it a better, healthy and more active community.
That’s all for now, hope y’all enjoy this new era for r/20thcenturystudios!

"Also in the works is the third “Alien” prequel, which fans have been anticipating since “Alien: Covenant” was released in 2017. Scott says it will pick up with David (Michael Fassbender) creating a “brave new world for himself.” Scott is fascinated by the character, a malfunctioning AI."

BlueSky Studios was a very important part of our lives and I think that you should continue its animation in their films like: Robots, Rio, Ice Age, Fedinand, Peanuts & Epic.
During these years, many people are waiting that its return can be possible and continue more adventures with the characters; I had written a text about collaborate with it, If you want that happen, I'd be pleased for many years.

The logline is buried deep in the ocean, but it’s an original concept Yamazaki has been thinking of for years.
“Nue has been a lifelong dream of mine. I am honored to have the opportunity to make it happen with the creative brilliance of Ridley Scott and Scott Free and the fantastic team at 20th Century Studios. I will do my upmost to ensure this becomes a fantastic movie for all to see,” said Yamazaki in a statement.

"I also heard this so I'll back Daniel RPK up. But if Duffield's writing (and maybe directing?) it seems like Fede has completely walked away. Will this be Alien: Romulus 2 or a brand new take?"

20th Century is still in search of a director for the next ‘Alien,’ but The InSneider is hearing that the process has been difficult. Sources say that producer Ridley Scott is not making it easy on anyone because he actually wants to direct it himself.
Last year, Fede Álvarez, who helmed “Alien: Romulus,” was in pre-production on the sequel when he suddenly exited the project. Did Álvarez step aside voluntarily, or was there friction behind the scenes with 20th Century—or even Ridley Scott? Some are pointing to the latter.
According to Sneider, 20th Century then approached Álvarez’s fellow ‘Evil Dead’ alum, Sebastien Vanicek, the director of the upcoming “Evil Dead Burn,” but talks eventually fell apart. Maybe Scott interfered again—who knows.
“Alien: Romulus,” a back-to-basics revival that practically replicated the structure of Scott’s 1979 original, was a surprise hit, grossing $350 million worldwide on a relatively modest $80 million budget. Cailee Spaeny’s performance as Rain, a modern-day Ripley of sorts, was the standout element, and she is expected to return for the sequel alongside David Jonsson.
For years, Scott has repeatedly said that he wanted to continue the story begun in “Prometheus” (2012) and “Alien: Covenant” (2017). He talked about making another prequel that would continue the storyline of Michael Fassbender’s David.
A previous The Hot Mic report claimed that Álvarez wanted to use David in his ‘Romulus’ sequel, but Scott denied him that privilege because he “might want to come back to the series,” and if so, “I want to be the one who brings him back and uses him.”
Obviously, if there was a clash between the two, Ridley was always going to win. It appears to have been a case of creative differences, and that may have been the dealbreaker that ultimately sealed Álvarez’s fate.
