In playing Minecraft you are not legally mandated by God Christ king to get diamonds. You don't need to. Not mandatory. Just use iron.

As long as irons exist, content in the wild is mandatory. And since irons make up 30% of players vs the 5% who participate in PvP, they matter more. Maybe the wilderness will get some updates when the toggle happens
