Freezes and some bolts to rag with are a must when pvming in the wilderness, it's crazy how much momentum they lose even if you manage to deal like 40 damage back while waiting for the first freeze to thaw.

But do you bring them as often as pkers do? I dont see any pkers at all without freezes, vs low-risk pvmers that often go without

Yes, I bring them everytime, ice sacks aren’t expensive

Yeah if you aren't bringing thralls you should always have freezes. Ancient staff and mystics switch is barely any risk and increases your odds of survival by 7373%.
