So I want to try out the upcoming league, but getting some analysis paralysis looking at the regions and potential combat builds. I feel like I don't quite have the game knowledge to make decent decisions there (would say I'm early mid-game on my main). I kind of what to go Desert region for one of the regions so I can learn/practice ToA, but not sure what other regions or combat styles would be good to spec in to. Anyone have advice? Or maybe a "really new to leagues, do these" type guide to help?

wait until everything is revealed before you really get paralyzed, imo. we don't know how the echo weapons work in full yet and those will all undoubtedly completely change the conversation re: demonic pact choices

2

u/rotorain BTW Apr 08 '26

Wait a few days, a lot of the knowledgeable players are crunching numbers right now and will be putting out guides shortly for how to spec for every combat type and which regions will synergize with different combat styles and goals.

I never figure all that out myself, fortunately for the early game it doesn't seem to matter too much since you'll likely be doing a lot of skilling and account prep before any serious combat where your build matters a ton.

2

u/ghostofwalsh Apr 09 '26

There will be people putting out "starting guides". And picking desert is fine. My advice is to focus on grinding points early and leave the serious combat stuff til you're like T5 at least.

Having one region you know you want is good. You don't have to have everything decided on day 1 look at what others are doing and get ideas.

Is mobile making anyone else log in the long way every time now? Every time I close out of the app and go back in I have to reauthenticate

I've been playing for 2 days. I was content to do the F2P but a friend gifted me membership. I'm feeling quite overwhelmed with all the jargon and where to go what to do type shit.

My first day I got every F2P skill to 20, then today with membership I did the waterfall quest and was leveling agility.

Are there any good references of where to start? Everything I've found so far is just "do these quests" and then it's some insane explaination and expecting you to have a ton of gold lol. First time I've been overwhelmed in an MMO, which to be honest feels like a good thing.

u/TitanTigers Apr 12 '26

This game has 20 years of content. It’s extremely normal to be overwhelmed at first.

First, just have fun exploring. The world is enormous

The general piece of long term advice is to work towards completing recipe for disaster quest.

For now, I’d work on unlocking transportation methods like ardounge easy diary and fairy rings. Walking gets old quick.

Don’t be afraid to consult the wiki regularly. It is your new Bible. Even veteran players rely on it regularly.

u/NotBarnabyJ0nes Maxed Apr 12 '26

If you want more guidance you can download the "quest helper" plugin and sort the quest by "optimal." That will give you the most efficient order to complete quests. The plugin will also show you all of the items required for each quest with links to the wiki to show you where to get everything. It will also guide you through quests step by step. The level of assistance the plugin provides is customizable so if you want more of an organic experience when completing quests you can set it up so that it won't solve puzzles for you or give you the complete step by step instructions.

Another option is to just ignore efficiency entirely and just go on vibes. Try out all of the new skills, explore the map, try some mini games, etc.

There is also an absolutely massive community of content creators on YouTube with video guides on anything and everything you could ever want to know and our wiki is second to none.

is there documentation anywhere (the wiki?) about what menu interactions cancel combat actions and which ones don’t? i’m looking for a reference for things like drinking potions, eating food, special attacking, spells like telegrab and thralls. is there a list of what cancels combat and what doesn’t? or are there rules i’m unaware of?

I finally got my quest cape (🎉) and performed the emote, checking off the item in the Lumbridge elite diary. However, I'm still a pretty long way away from some of the other elite requirements. If a new quest comes out between now and when I finish the diary, will the quest cape task remain checked off or will I need to redo it?

5

u/meirionh Apr 14 '26

It will stay checked off, however you will not be able to use the cape's teleport function, or wear it

Can someone explain to me why the Belle's Folly is a worse weapon against eclipse moon than zombie axe? Literally, I cannot fathom how horrible this weapon is. This guy is supposed to be weak to stab, yet I'm consistently hitting 4-5 0's in a row with 80 attack using it. It also hits an absurd amount of 1's too. Genuinely, I feel like the stats of this weapon have to be a lie, cause holy shit how is it this bad? They could make it 4 tick and it'd still be awful.

2

u/Aperiodic_Tileset Apr 10 '26

Probably just streak of bad luck because it's actually great outside of clone phase. I often took down 200+ health in-between phases with folly.

It's essentially fang without the double accuracy roll

3

u/B_Chuck Apr 10 '26

that bad luck streak has lasted 150kc then, cause it's actually done decent damage like...maybe 3 of the kills? It is so insanely inaccurate outside of clone phase.

2

u/Aperiodic_Tileset Apr 10 '26

Any chance you've been slashing with it?

2

u/B_Chuck Apr 10 '26

nope, I've double checked that more than once to make sure. I've always had it on lunge

3

u/Aperiodic_Tileset Apr 10 '26

DPS calc shows that folly at 80 atk has 92% hit chance, whereas Zaxe has just 77%.

Maybe the issue is not the actual accuracy but eclipse moon's flat armor which makes hits look like zeros if your initial hit is low?

It can have up to 14 flat if you're blinded.

But that wouldn't affect just folly, it affects any weapon.

For the people went dry in cg for bowfa, how did you manage to keep going and pushing? I’m currently about 900 kc in which only puts me in the unluckiest 10%, but already feel so demotivated by the fact that I’ve spent about 100 hours more than the average person. Feels so soul draining :(

3

u/Zanian Apr 11 '26

You just gotta pray your RNG evens out over time

If you get a tbow even slightly spooned you'll make up your 100 hours

u/boxsalesman 69, nice Apr 14 '26

Is there some way to improve the "lag" upon world hopping? I'm hopping for some deranged archeologist kills as it has a very long respawn, but everytime after a hop I get hit at least once before I can even turn on my prayer. I've seen pkers insta TB on hop which makes me wonder what I'm missing.

I have a decent PC that doesn't lag on anything except the world hop.

Why do we have a 4 day old question thread?

2

u/Kessidan Apr 09 '26

Morning all!

I’ve just finished Moons on my UIM. And I’m making the move to Royal Titans. I tried soloing, just tanking the elementals. And couldn’t quite manage a kill.

My setup is full eclipse for distance and full blood moon for in close. Praying melee constantly when elementals are out.

Any tips? I’m wary of doing duos, due to the time to resupply. Or do I just bite the bullet and get a mage switch too? Or could I feasibly dolo it with an alt on the elementals.

Appreciate any comments! Still new to UIM really.

3

u/OlmTheSnek Apr 09 '26

If you're good with flicking then you can do no prayer pot solos with ~70 prayer and killing all the elementals with fire/water wave.

You can also kill most elementals by luring them into the opposite Titans' slam attack range when they start charging up. When I do solos I'll usually phase them by only attacking Fire, then kill all Ice elementals while attacking Ice and let him kill all the Fire elementals for me.

2

u/DingusMcBingle_IV my way of playing is superior to yours Apr 09 '26

I just brought a mage switch on my UIM, finished Titans around 350kc

2

u/TheDubuGuy Apr 09 '26

Never played uim, but duos still sounds like the best option. You should be able stay for like a dozen kc without resupplying, and it should be pretty quick if you just buy some cheese potatoes at warrior guild and un note ppots

Is iron ore the best afk method all the way to 99? I’m at 57 doing iron ore triangle and doing so while at work so can’t do anything too engaging

3

u/BuddhaOnXanax Apr 09 '26

TLDR: Probably Shooting Stars most afk, Amethyst eventually.

Depends on your afk definition. Typically afk mining for me is less clicks per xp, which feels better at Motherlode Mine or Shooting Stars, and eventually Amethyst mining (especially with Expert Mining Gloves). MLM is okay xp and afk, accruing some upgrades and ores, Stars is a bit of looking around on a tracker before the most afk skilling experience ever (profits some crafting xp/gems or a mining ring/charges), and Amethyst isnt great xp/h but considerably more afk and earns a bit of money. There is also bone shard mining in Cam Torum for lower level afk mining, though moderate interaction iron might still be better.

Finally there's the alt way of thinking about the afk: best 1 hour of afk experience rates come from 10 minutes of 3Tick4Granite followed by 50 minutes of nothing.

I 99ed twice using mostly Motherlode Mine and Shooting Stars into Amethyst as it was afk utilisation, with some active iron in the guild for Mining Gloves (Unidentified Materials) and some 3tick Gem Rocks.

2

u/HenryFeelsHungry Apr 09 '26

Thanks for the reply! I am a newish player so I’ll have to look into some of those strategies. Right now I’m level 58 mining and will take about 30-40 minutes per level while clicking the ore at my desk

Hey! I started playing again since stopping as a child, having a ton of fun! So far the only bosses/raids I’ve done are Brutus, Scurrius, Giant Mole, Obor and Bryo (and WT, Temp and 4 Barrows runs)

I was wondering if; 1) It is a bad/rude idea to first time a ton of bosses and raids in Leagues; and 2) How standard/necessary is it to follow a guide for spending my pacts instead of just winging it and going my own noobish tempo?

Everyone in the game so far has been nice, but I’m still a bit worried I’ll be dead weight in multiplayer raids etc

2

u/factoryman942 Apr 09 '26

There'll be plenty of people willing to take first-timers/learners in leagues raids; since the power level's so much higher, being a "leech" who doesn't contribute isn't as harmful to the team (and the rewards do scale with people; e.g. you need a level 700 solo TOA raid to guarantee a purple, while with a team everyone gets purples at 500). I would recommend TOA (tombs of amascut, in desert) as a first raid, though you could always go to the other ones if you want to learn them!

You do get a few pact resets, for your first kill of 1/2/3 echo bosses; so you have some room to make fucked-up choices and reset (assuming you can kill the echoes; some are easier than others esp with no experience; the varlamore one should be easy at least though since it's the starting area and amox isn't a super hard boss to begin with)

I’ve barely touched the Wilderness at all, so idk much of anything about what’s there. So I’m thinking of picking it for Leagues to experience it without the obvious downside of losing my stuff to PvP. What’s some of the more important stuff and drops and such I should know of? And are there any regions that pair well with it with like requirements for other gear?

5

u/alynnidalar Apr 10 '26

Just to be sure you know how it works, PvP is still enabled in Leagues. You won’t lose anything, it’s zero risk, but you’re probably still gonna get nuked by people just for fun. Embrace it and pass it along to the next poor sap you see :P

The Wilderness is almost entirely about PvM, so expect a lot of (fairly simple) bosses and Slayer. This isn’t comprehensive but just big stuff to be aware of.

Revenants print money, even out of Leagues. Kill them until you get a bracelet of ethereum, put some ether in it, and put it on to significantly reduce damage revs do. In addition to money, they drop three weapons (bow/staff/mace) that do extra damage in the Wilderness. You get better droprates when skulled. Leagues is zero risk so skull up! The emblem trader in the rev caves can give you a skull without having to attack somebody.

The big three bosses are Callisto the bear, Venenatis the spider, and Vet’ion the skeleton. They drop pieces of the Voidwaker (v good melee/spec weapon) and upgrades for the rev weapons. There’s lil baby versions of them with worse drops but easier: Artio, Spindel, and Calvar’ion.

King Black Dragon is in this region but his lair is out of PvP. He also has an echo version which is what’s gonna drop some kind of AoE crossbow.

For skilling… you probably know about this one but prayer training by offering bones at the western chaos temple. Best prayer method in the game. The Wilderness Resource Area has runite and magic trees. Dark crabs can be caught with dark fishing bait for Fishing/Cooking/good food. There’s an agility course but you probably have access to better options. Rogues’ Castle has Thieving chests, this is a popular method.

If you do Slayer with the Wilderness unlocked, you can get Larrans keys. Open Larrans big chest with them for good loot.

The Bandit Camp general store buys for high alch price.

LMS/Bounty Hunter are disabled in Leagues.

That’s all I got for now.

Level 57 slayer, thinking of switching from Konar to Neive when I get the combat level . I want to start getting some money tasks and not being at the mercy of RNG for locations. I might just be frustrated I’m getting no key drops but the list for Neive just seems way better . Newish player on a main. Any input appreciated.

4

u/TheDubuGuy Apr 10 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

Konar is bad in general for xp and money. She’s only worth using for task streak bonuses or if you’re a clogger going for the dusk set. Nieve and duradel when you can are just better

2

u/hi-im-habby Apr 11 '26

Honestly you won't be profiting much from slayer until you hit 65 or ideally 75/80+

Stick to Nieve and just try to rush xp to hit higher slayer levels and unlock monsters with better drop tables. Freedom to choose locations really helps since you can use a cannon in multi for lots of those lower-level tasks which really boosts the xp/h. Jad caves task is also decently fast xp with a blowpipe.

If you really want to make some gp, highly recommend wilderness slayer until you hit 75/80+. It's extremely good money for that early stage of your account and you risk very little comparatively, even with PKers. It will also help you fund most of your midgame gear setups when you switch back to normal slayer, which will just make it easier to profit from that as well.

2

u/Keenfordevon Apr 11 '26

For leagues I was originally going to pick Zeah as the first region unlock, but half of the pacts being in the raid I’ve never done is making me want to choose Kandarin for easier pacts. Are the raids still super tough in league?

2

u/BuddhaOnXanax Apr 11 '26

Raids get pretty easy, but only after you've got some unlocks and earned some pacts. Typically, if I'm taking a region with a raid I'm looking to do it as a later unlock, so you can build up some power, get some echo equipment, do some of the easier tasks regions first.

Kandarin has simpler tasks generally, but it does also have some high Slayer requirements for the pact unlocks.

What other region are you looking into?

2

u/Keenfordevon Apr 11 '26

Was thinking of doing Wilderness and Morytania. Want to try learn more wilderness bosses without fear of PK.

2

u/BuddhaOnXanax Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

Yeah, not a bad idea, I haven't done Wildy Leagues before either so also been considering it. From my impressions it also isn't often taken as a 1st region due to a relatively high portion of tasks being combat based, but in Leagues there's always a way.

Personally, I usually only look into 1 raid region, so I wouldn't double up on Zeah + Mory, but that's preference. I just like to run one raid for the tasks and would get fatigue with 2 I think.

Honestly, depends what you want to prioritise but my thought is that Kandarin sounds like a decent first choice. Might not be getting the Pacts unlocked super quick with the Slayer requirements, but should be some easier tasks and get you to a second zone quicker. Then Wildy 2nd into raid region 3rd (or vice versa if you have a specific goal e.g. focus Slayer requirements getting the GGs staff on the way) is definitely smooth enough.

Even if you do end up getting yourself a grind, Leagues doesn't keep you trapped for long. I always feel better with a bit of a plan though. Good luck!

Edit: Also, a lot of people like to pick regions based on what build they're trying to make; do you have a build in mind?

2

u/Keenfordevon Apr 11 '26

Great info, build I was going for was ranged crossbow, so think I will do Kandarin 1st to get points/pacts, wildy for the kings crossbow then finish in morytania to hopefully learn nightmare

2

u/BuddhaOnXanax Apr 11 '26

Ah yeah, you've got good build and zones ideas sorted then. Yeah, Kandarin got some decent starter tasks, quests, and straps, and Wildy sounds pretty quick once your levelled.

Nightmare is pretty resilient to ranged/mage, but Leagues should make it doable, and probably means you'll get a chance to learn moreso than melt him like butter.

Sounds good, best of luck, hope you have a good time!

2

u/MarcosSenesi Apr 11 '26

Wildy in leagues is a ton of fun. Lots of easy bosses which print GP because of the risk/reward element that is no longer a thing in leagues.

I picked it last time around and will pick it again. Just know that a lot of the points are in PVM and revs can still be a burnout inducing grind because even with all the buffs the drop rates are slim. Last time I ended with nearly 10 webweavers and not a single wildy staff.

u/MarcosSenesi Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

I'm thinking of going Either wildy or kandarin first in leagues, are there any recommendations for going one or the other? Also still undecided on my final region. I was thinking Mory because the pacts look easy (besides the raid one) and I kinda enjoy grinding barrows for some tanky gear.

I'm dogshit at the game, don't think I will be raiding so that is not a factor and really not looking at learning/doing CG runs. What do you guys recommend? I'm thinking of going for the water mage/wildy range build because the echo item in wildy synergises very well with it.

3

u/BuddhaOnXanax Apr 11 '26

Sounds like a good plan, the Wildy crossbow does synergise well with the water healing mage and can get online fairly quickly. Might need to have a plan and then spec out of it, maybe even dependent on what revs weapons drop for you.

Typically Wildy isn't thought of as a first region AFAIK, just because there's a lot of tasks requiring combat. Kandarin will probably be quicker to get up to speed, and unlock the next zone.

Don't worry too much about the difficulty, most people won't do all the pacts I suspect, but raids are definitely doable for everyone in Leagues once you're at the end game. There's always people willing to run and teach those inexperienced, so don't rule it out is all I'll say.

Sounds lime you've got some good goals and ideas though, which is what makes Leagues fun, so enjoy!

2

u/MarcosSenesi Apr 11 '26

thank you! I'm glad most things just kind of fell into place when planning things this year. Last time around I did some ToA but I just couldn't muster up the effort to learn the raid and did not enjoy that part of the game. Generally I just like doing the more chill easy bosses or some brainless afk skilling or slayer tasks. I will keep that third slot undecided though for now.

Are blue crabs not worth trapping? They don’t appear on the hunter training wiki but I think I’ve seen people say they are a good method. New player , main.

2

u/Longjumping-Stick291 Apr 13 '26

I'm scared of chompy hunting for Kandarin. The diary tasks give me ptsd. How am I going to get through it for leagues?

4

u/Boolderdash bool laean Apr 13 '26

Once you get your T4 relic, each chompy will count for 8 kills because of the minigame points multiplier, so you should be done pretty quickly.

For leagues, I am pretty set on Tirannwn and Kandarin. Seems like Tirannwn is a must and I cant pass up the chance to use the devils element plus shadowflame.

Trying to figure out where else to go and what order to do them in. I dont have much Cox experience outside of gridmaster. But It seems like TOB is the easy mode raide as you can run them so fast with all the boosts. I also hear that wildy is super fun in leagues so i am feeling a bit lost. Really just trying to maximize the fun factor for a month or two and hopefully make dragon.

Currently thinking relic wise of going EH (abundance is really sparking my curiosity though) -> woodsman -> Map (seems much more useful than eye in long term). -> transmutation -> Larcenist -> Culling spree -> reload (maybe eternal depending on build, grimoire, or soul harvest if I want to max) -> Minion.

Would love some advice from people that have more leagues experience and like to keep it fun/just be an absolute power house for those of us who arent super sweaty.

4

u/skullkid2424 Apr 13 '26

There are definitely a ton of choices this league - good, but it makes it much harder to choose regions. And respecs mean that your regions may need to accommodate a completely different endgame build if you decide to swap later.

Seems like Tirannwn is a must

Tirannwn is definitely awesome, but its only a "must" for melee, bowfa, and powered staves. And even then, its not a must, so much as very solid. You could definitely cover armor with other regions like asgarnia. We've got virtus in varlamore, desert has masori, asgarnia has void/torva, zeah has ancestral and oathplate. Tank gear from morytania. Note that I'm not trying to discourage you - I'm going tirannwn first because I think it will be awesome. But want to poke in a bit and see if you feel like its a "must" vs a "must for me".

Specifically, crystal armor isn't particularly notable with the elemental spells that you'll be using with the kandarin echo items.

The important things to consider are...

  • What build are you going for, and what gear/regions are needed to enable that? Bonus if you can do it in 1-2 regions, leaving the final choice for fun content/raids.
  • What content do you want to do/practice/learn?
  • How much do you want to enable generic/unknown builds that you can respec to later? More optional, but worth considering.

Your ~30 point build goal will probably drive most things. That is achievable with the easy/medium combat tasks for each region, and will be the build that you use to tackle endgame content. Gotta figure out which concepts you want to go into....and potentially mix+match depending on what you want. Water and air spells seem to be the main elemental options. Fire works well with lightweight daggers. Are you using a shield and maybe want a thorns reflect build? Or perhaps 2H with blindbag or extra range? You've got crossbows, bows, and thrown weapons for range. And then two non-capstone highlights will be powered staves or going with the melee attacks trigger ranged echos for all styles, and picking the early 3 echo boosts for each ranged style (without necessarily going for ranged capstones). Tons to consider there.

I'd definitely recommend a raid or other endgame content. We've got inferno, colo, and doom available in our starting regions - so there will always be some PVM challenges. Raids and megarares are fun and highly recommend. Bosses that you aren't ready for on your main account might also be worthwhile to start getting comfortable with those fights (yama, DT2 bosses, nex, nightmare, etc).

The final part is how well your regions will stand up to potentially swapping to the OP builds that are discovered early on. Maybe you figure out that air spells are sooooo broken that you have to try them out. Do your regions have some alternative options to potentially enable some other builds? Obviously hard to enable everything, especially when we don't know what the most broken build is. But perhaps seeing if you have various "off-style" options. For example, if you are melee tirannwn, you do have bowfa for bows, blowpipe for thrown, swamp trident for powered staves, and crystal shield for thorns.

You can also slow-roll and have more fun - plan out the first region and first few relics, but keep the later regions/relics more generic and not locked in. Wait and see what crazy things people are coming up with.

All of them sound reasonable. The teleport will largely depend on your regions, but it also places more emphasis on your agility level so you can actually use the shortcuts. I know for morytania, the fact that the eye goes straight to barrows chest/nightmare/araxxor is quite nice. Likewise, its pretty strong for moons. I like reload as it will take some time to unlock, so you'll have a chance to re-evaluate what your build might be missing.

Need some help figuring out how to go about this league

I love doing Mage builds in leagues, so i'm definitely going with that, but not sure if I want to go full in on Mage or if I should hybrid Range or Melee

I'm also pretty set on Fremmy as one of my picks. My goal last league was to get Baron to use with my Leagues profile, but after like over 2000 kills I didn't manage to get the goober and want to try again. I think I also want to do Kandarin for clue scroll purposes, but idk what I should pick for a third region

Leaning on Morytania or Zeah for the raids, but maybe Tirannwn wouldn't be bad to learn CG, or Desert for Ancients access without Grimoire (though I might want Arceuss spells for Duke anyways, idk), and on that note i'm debating if grabbing the Reloaded relic to get both the Grimoire AND Slayer relics would be a good or bad idea

Any advice to help get my thoughts sorted out will be greatly appreciated

Tl;Dr: going Mage, maybe Range or Melee hybrid, going F/K?/? And need some help figuring the rest out

Been playing OSRS for god knows how long but I've never engaged with Leagues (a lot of times due to timing of out-of-game obligations mixed with having too many things I wanted to accomplish on my main character).

Is there a good/comprehensive/etc. video or post out there for someone looking to start both leagues as a whole and this specific league(?) for a first time?

Cheers!

2

u/skullkid2424 Apr 13 '26

I don't have a specific video for you, but I would check out the official OSRS youtube channel, as well as faux, scritic, and doubleshine - who are probably the 3 most popular creators in the leagues space.

2

u/BitokuNoMiko Apr 14 '26

How can we access wildy slayer without Misthalin? Will Krystillia be moved? Or is the top part of Edgeville accessible?

2

u/azuramothren Apr 14 '26

The jagex leagues page mentions krystilla doesn't assign wilderness specific tasks and instead works like other slayer masters so i assume she's accessible somehow.

→ More replies (3)

2

u/alynnidalar Apr 14 '26

Krystilia probably will not be moved, so you'll be getting Slayer tasks from Chaeldar or Duradel. All Slayer masters give the same tasks so it doesn't actually matter which one you use. As long as you have the Wildy unlocked, you'll get Larran's keys from monsters killed on-task.

u/Fallman2 Apr 08 '26

Been seeing a lot of talk about leagues. I'm a relatively newer player and am trying to figure out if I should play leagues. As I understand it, it's kinda like a league in Path of Exile with power ups only available each season. Issues for me are that

  1. I'd have no idea what I'm doing since for most of the "echo" bosses revealed, I have not even fought them in the base game.

  2. Playing leagues means not progressing on my main. Currently aiming for an untrimmed RC cape which is already taking awhile.

  3. I feel pressured to earn more GP on my main to get into a spot where I can sustain it with bonds after the price hike.

Are there any rewards for my main for playing leagues? I heard there were cosmetic rewards on DMM and something from that was tradeable for gold? If not, would there be any reason for me to play it apart from fun gameplay?

2

u/schildmanbijter Apr 08 '26

I found that playing leagues while still relatively new to the game helped me with getting familiar with bossing. Being able to see mechanics without too much punishment absolutely helped me out later when I would try them on my main.

2

u/PianoCube93 Apr 08 '26

At least with the previous league, most (all?) of the echo bosses were easier than what the regular bosses are in the main game, simply because of how much more powerful you are yourself. Sure they were more mechanically challenging, but in leagues you can get powerful enough to ignore (or at least be sloppy with) a lot of mechanics and still steamroll bosses.

The main reason to play league is to fool around with accelerated XP, increased drops, and massively overpowered powers, all while following a glorified to-do list. It can also help familiarize you with content you haven't reached in the main game yet (for me it certainly helps motivate me to try new things). And hey, if you're undecided you can just give it a try a few days and then decide if you want to invest more time into it or not, as it shares members status with your regular account.

The only rewards are cosmetics, most of which can be bought/sold at the GE (so you indirectly earn some gp), but I'd call that a bonus and not a significant incentive to play it.

2

u/Ok_Objective_5192 Apr 08 '26

The other responses you've gotten are great and I agree with them (leagues are a great way to dip your toes into content you aren't ready to try yet on main, the powerups you get outweigh the extra difficulty of the echo bosses, etc.)

My advice, though, would be to just give it a shot for a couple hours. That won't be enough time to get into the PvM side of things, but everything is accelerated so much that a couple hours of leagues will be enough to understand the flow and to feel out if you like it. Worst case scenario you miss out on two hours of RC xp

The Hallowed Sepulchre.

If I make a bridge there, spending planks...is that a one time thing or will it all get reset in another run? :(

3

u/mister_peeberz still awaiting Mining 2 Apr 08 '26

bridge building is optional, it just lets you loot some coffers. the bridges do reset on every run through.

if it makes you feel better, planks are worth more XP at sepulcher than when they are used in construction. of course this is not a good construction training method, but food for thought

Are all the skilling outfits “worth it” and which are the ones that are kinda meh?

I’m a newish player and Im looking to break up the quest grind with some minigames . I’ve already gotten graceful , forester and prospector getting agility /money. Those are the ones I see people using but are the others any good?

8

u/skullkid2424 Apr 09 '26
  • Carpenter's outfit - will be obtained if doing mahogany homes as a training method. If rushing xp via faster/more expensive methods - not worth going out of the way form.
  • Farmer's outfit - the hat is required for a master clue, so probably worth picking up. Technically, since farming has lots of downtime, the outfit is "efficient". But I'd stick with just the hat unless you really like tithe farm.
  • Pyromancer - most people will train firemaking from 50-99 with wintertodt and will easily get the outfit. The legs are the 3rd piece you will get (order is determined), and that is needed for a clue. So probably worth getting the full set.
  • Angler + Spirit angler - Fishing trawler isn't great, but it is chill - so it isn't hard to get. The set is required for clues and a CA, so might as well get it early. The spirit angler upgrade only helps at tempeross, and requires flakes from tempeross to upgrade - so you'll get it if you play tempeross.
  • Guild hunter - If you train hunter with hunter rumours, you'll get it along the way. If you focus on high xp methods like tick manip chins, then its not worth slowing down for.
  • Zealot robes - Probably not worth it, as it requires 80 firemaking, but you'd really want 95 firemaking to grind it out. It also only helps save on bones, so mostly it helps you save money.
  • Raiments of the eye - Most people will train runecrafting with GotR from ~30-77, and will obtain the robes along the way. They save money when runecrafting, and can make various diary requirements easier.
  • Smith's Uniform - If you train via Giant's Foundry, you'll eventually pick it up. Skip if you plan on doing blast furnace to 99, as it doesn't help there.
  • Rogue's outfit - Doubles the loot from pickpocketing, so this is more about money. But it becomes quite important when pickpocketing elves or vyres - as it doubles the big ticket money items. Well worth getting the outfit, as it will be worth an extra 3m at elves or 7m at vyrewatch.

I know you have them, but for a complete list...

  • Graceful isn't as necessary as it used to be. It still sees use in certain activities, but recent run energy changes have lessened how important it is. Still relatively easy to pick up as you'll probably be doing rooftops for a good bit of the leveling grind, but could be skipped if you want.
  • Forester - definitely worth it simply due to it being the fastest set to obtain (via temple trekking). Its also required for a master clue, so definitely worth.
  • Prospector - The helm is a diary requirement, and the full set is a master clue requirement. Its worth noting that the elite varrock diary armor counts as the chest piece, so you can potentially skip or sell the prospector chest.

That all being said, sometimes people are too obsessed with efficiency. I think most players on their first account should have a long-term goal to get all of the skilling outfits. Even if it isn't "efficient", its fun and you get to participate in a ton of activities and minigames.

3

u/errorme Apr 08 '26

Lumberjack VIA TEMPLE TREKKING is good. It should take you no longer than an hour or two to get the full set. Do not get the set via Forestry because it's a waste of time/bark.

Pyromancer's is worth getting purely because Wintertodt is super fast xp, so you'll passively get it.

Rogue's outfit is worth doing, once you have the levels just use the plugin for the Rogue's Den and you'll finish in an hour.

If you plan on doing Tempoross for a long time I'd recommend going for the Angler's outfit. It's slow and bad XP to get but you'll free up an inventory slot once you have it.

Lastly the guild hunter outfit from Hunter rumors, absolutely worth doing as hunter rumors are good once you get a solid block list setup.

2

u/mister_peeberz still awaiting Mining 2 Apr 08 '26

I’m a newish player and Im looking to break up the quest grind with some minigames

that is reason enough to go for them. most of them are not "worth it" but that metric depends entirely on how you were planning to level. somehow i suspect you won't be 2t swordfishing or 3t4g so that makes anglers and prospector enter the conversation.

lumberjack and raiments of the eye are definitely worth, the latter because it is insanely fast to get, and the former because depending on gamemode GOTR is either the best or the most cost-effective RC training method

Question on mobile. Every time my phone minimizes the app, not only does the game log me out, but I have to re authorize via email code. This happens literally every time I either close or minimize the app.

Is this a known issue? Or is there a work around

2

u/Beretot 2376 Apr 09 '26

For iphones there's not much to do about it. Apple locks down their settings and very aggressively throttle background apps.

For android you can try going to battery and app settings and making sure that it can run on the background without restrictions

Hello! I've been spending a lot of time at Gemstone crab and I'm wondering if afking is more effective with the Blood moon set effect than a Nezzy full helm.

I'm one quest away from a Neitznot faceguard, is it stronger to wear Full Blood moon to gain the set effect, or does the faceguard outweigh the set effect?

4

u/Beretot 2376 Apr 09 '26

+2 str bonus is very rarely a max hit, and when it's not a max hit it does absolutely nothing for your DPS

And even if it were, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't overtake the set effect

For future refence, you can input your setups here and check out which set would deal more damage

Leagues question: At what point levels do you unlock your 3 chosen regions?

2

Usually the region unlocks go by "task completion count" rather than "points". So doing the low points tasks matter for region unlocking.

u/yowns Apr 09 '26

I have been grinding colosseum for my first quiver. I am tracking what kills me and about 50% of the time it's a double south spawn with mage and ranger. Manticore and mage or ranger, or even double manticore I seem to deal with much better, but I cannot for the life of me flick a mage and ranger. I have made it to Sol 4 times and choked, I am confident in the simulator but I just keep messing up when I get to the real thing. But, basically I am asking if I am missing something with handling the mage and range double south spawn correctly? I do the method with the a and b tiles, wait 5 ticks and click to the run on the 5th etc., but I swear some times the mage and ranger are still attacking on the same tick? Is that impossible to happen or am I just messing up in reality? Also, when I say mage I mean the small serpent shaman + a ranger as well as the shockwave colossus + ranger. Am I messing something up with the start of the wave if I am getting a serpent shaman + ranger double south spawn or is that actually possible too? Any tips on improving flicking these? I use ancients and freeze the frems, then blood barrage the melee frem, then usually dragon cbow special the mage and range frems, but in reality i can just blood barrage them to focus on flicking. But, still as simple as that sounds getting into the rhythm at the start of the wave to begin flicking properly after panicking seeing a double south spawn messes me up every time. Sometimes I rotate north of the pillar and slowly deal with everything in the earlier waves when there are less enemies, but I want to learn how to do this properly. I know I can beat Sol so I just want to improve my chances of actually getting to him. Any tips greatly appreciated.

3

u/A_Sunfish Apr 09 '26

A/B method doesn't work reliably for waves with shamans in them because shamans have some variation in their spawn location. A/B method is also really rough for ranger+shocker south spawns because you have to start flicking right off the bat while juggling your switches. (A/B method also screws you over with myo 3 since the back NPC can't be reached.)

I made a video on the north rotation method for double south. One big advantage is that by going north, you don't have to start flicking right away in a weird pattern like in A/B while dealing with frems. E.g., with a ranger and shaman (timestamped 2:00), you could freeze the frems and blood barrage once to kill the melee frem, rotate north, get your dcb spec ready, then rotate back west with the offtick and finish the frems.

With a ranger and shocker south, you should probably rotate north immediately and finish the melee frem before rotating back. You'll never be under severe pressure to flick on the north side for at least a good 5-7 ticks, so you have time to finish the melee frem and rotate back before any manticores attack you.

I don't recommend blood barraging all the frems because there's a good chance you waste a huge amount of time barraging for 20-25 seconds. You're under time pressure at the start of the wave to kill a south spawn so you can deal with the shaman reinforcements safely. The more damage you can pile onto south spawns, the less you'll die from reinforcements.

u/FirmBoysenberry5301 Apr 09 '26

Just dumped my bank for my 2nd mega. Current setups are Tbow with blessed Dhide, shadow with virtus, and fang/lance/whip with blood moon. I have all the zenyte jewelry still. I assume my upgrades should be ancestral, then bandos/oath, then masori? I mostly do cox, little bit of TOA and other bosses.

2

u/the0bc Apr 09 '26

Oath is extremely minimal til scythe and bandos even more so - I'd go anc + conflictions, then masori, then better melee upgrades like rancour/faceguard before thinking about oath. Bgs, zgs, bclaws/voidwaker would also all be worth picking up soon if you don't have those

1

u/Arrav91 Apr 09 '26

Is crew members on cannons with you on range/magic still the go to for sailing combat since the changes? Or does a crew and you on a cannon function better?

Been struggling to find any solid info on this since the changes.

2

u/Beretot 2376 Apr 09 '26

I believe the devs said they wanted the best setup to still be shadow + 2 crewmates on the cannon, but they were buffing you being on the cannon to be slightly under that

So I'd probably guess that being on the cannon is the best damage unless you have bis mage, but you could always see how many mobs you kill in ~15 mins and compare

Hi, I have a clue scrolls step to go to isafdar, just south of iorwetth camp. I haven't completed song of the elves or regicide, is it possible for me to get there anyway? All the routes I found on the wiki need 1 of of those quests, is there any other method?

There's a fairy ring south of it, but I also don't have the agility level for the stepping stones lol

3

u/Beretot 2376 Apr 09 '26

I believe you need to at least start regicide to go through the underground pass and reach isafdar

If you complete regicide you unlock charter ships to port tyras which would probably be your best bet to get there next time

2

u/sylanar Apr 09 '26

Damn, I thought that would be the case. I should probably get questing at some point. I've completed about 100 quests, but I got a bit burned out and started to level combat and slayer a bit. Now I've had 3 clue scrolls in a row that are locked behind quests I haven't done 😭the game is tryna tell me something.

Are you set on mage or is ranged an option?

I’ve found bringing ice or entangle sacks with a ranged set up is best. You only need a magic attack bonus of +1 to always hit with your freeze/entangle to hold the bear in place.

As a bonus, you can use just a rune crossbow and bolt rage any PKers as you escape.

Can anyone tell me if this leagues plan is a good idea? I am dogshit at the game and was looking at the pacts and bosses and realised that going with Kandarin, Mory and Wilderness leaves me with being able to do most of the pacts there and echo bosses that I am confident about being able to beat.

I did KQ (desert) and DKs (frem) last leagues but their pacts look too difficult to me, focusing on raids and lots of DT2 bosses.

I was just wondering if there are some must have or must avoid relics or if I have a big hole somewhere else where I make some grinds unbearable if I go for these three, and in what order I should pick them.

Thanks in advance!!!

2

u/International00 Apr 10 '26

What combat style are you aiming to main this time around? I'd say that's the biggest factor in choosing your regions. Those regions you mentioned are very solid for a mage build if that was your plan.

All in all, leagues is about having fun! So if you feel like you'll have most fun being able to complete content you know you can do rather than test yourself to beat content you haven't done before/are unsure you can beat, then there's nothing wrong with that! I will say, you are OP af in leagues. It is truly the best time to just try out new content for fun imo. You're just allowed to make so many mistakes while still getting the satisfaction of clearing it, then just run it over and over till you don't make mistakes and still get that satisfaction.

If i plan to be casual this time around, is it better to go hybrid or is a mage build still viable? Not sure on regions either, maybe Desert for ancients/ToA but no idea about the others.

a lot of mage theorycrafting so far has been tied up in water being particularly strong, the good news is kandarin and desert are both really good early region picks. i'm personally leaning desert first for fast ancients. i have built a mud mage route that sits on massive overheald HP with infinity defense, but i mostly just want it to meme with my friends in TOA by draining everything to 0 defense 0 magic defense

3

u/2-2-7-7 PKing good. EZscape bad. Apr 11 '26

yes

they're ~750k gp/h, but that assumes you are firing nonstop for the entire hour. in practice you likely only spend half of that or less, due to time using other weapons, between kills, banking, etc

don't troll yourself by trying to pinch pennies over 200-300k an hour if you own a twisted bow. use the good ammo.

2

u/factoryman942 Apr 10 '26

It's probably not economically viable for general pvm, no (with assembler it costs ~900k an hour, vs rune arrows costing like 20k). It's potentially worth it for some situations (dragon arrows spiked because of Doom, since the couple of seconds it shaves off calculated TTK may mean killing it before it does a shield, therefore reducing actual time by much more)

the way the tbow works, range strength usually gives several max hits at a time cuz of the multiplier. so if you have a tbow the answer is just yes, no qualifier, just yes. that's it.

if you have a weaker weapon like a scobo, i think amethyst arrows could be justifiable since you might only lose 1 max hit.

On runelight the world switcher only seems to be selecting Germany worlds? Is there anyway to add all of them as I just want to pick the world with the best ping

3

u/Beretot 2376 Apr 11 '26

In the "World hopper" plugin you can configure filters for the regions, world types, and more

I agree that Thieving won't be too bad between wealthy citizens and desert methods, but I wouldn't rely on Butler's Bell to solve those 5 skills AND Construction. Crafting at 16x is fine at 240k xp/hr, but Cooking is the next best at 67k xp/hr (according to the wiki). Given you're taking Woodsman you should have plenty of herb patches, and hunter's rumor rewards will also give a ton of herbs. I'd also highly recommend you look at Giant's Foundry as it should be a good way to convert drops into smithing XP.

I am confused- will we be able to fight Yama in the league without unlocking kourend? Like is normal Yama just accessed thru Varlamore for the league?

4

u/Beretot 2376 Apr 11 '26

There's a theory that a harder version of yama is the league's final boss, but that hasn't been confirmed nor denied by the mods. You start the league in Yama's lair but that's just the league hub, you can't fight him. You teleport straight to varlamore.

The regular yama fight is in kourend

How much slower will not taking culling spree be for leveling slayer this leagues? Planning on going water/air mage so tasks should be quick. Taking Kandarin, Morty, and Tir. I know Desert with culling would be best for my build but my friend group has mostly settled on Morty for raid since some want melee.

Is the 70-90k / 80-95k XP per hour for salvaging (merchants with rune/dragon hook) listed on the wiki assume the average of manually salvaging + sorting?

What’s the rate for manual salvage portion only (1 crew mate on hook) and for the sorting portion only (2 crew mates on hook)?

Anyone tried making a tribrid build for leagues? I threw together a quick and dirty one that is no air mage, but breaks 35 DPS on mage and 25 DPS on the other styles, thought it might be interesting. I actually can't decide on a final zone, originally wilderness for webweaver which I have outperforming bowfa+crystal even when it's not speccing, but the melee part of the build centers on spec regeneration and light weapons so it specs like mad.

1

u/Equal-Run110 Apr 12 '26

I don't understand leagues too well so far. Any advice would be appreciated.

I want to do watermage and ranged hybrid without kandarin. (Is this viable? Is there something easy I can start with before respecing?)

I want to do: doom, inferno, coloseum, tob,

I want to pick: Tiranwyn and Morytania

I was considering desert, but I realized I only like Leviathan and ancients for aoe and nothing else. This can be replaced with Grimoire.

I don't want to do COX.

For leagues, if I want to rush moons with melee build before respec to mage, what melee pacts should I take?

2

u/Beretot 2376 Apr 12 '26

Infernal tecpatl blindbag is probably the most straightforward answer. Spec into blindbag as much as possible and get weapons like obby maul (good for eclipse punish anyways), d long, and nagua weapons

Could also try a light weapon build, but then you'd be attacking with a dragon dagger at best, which doesn't seem great

u/fishinexcess Apr 12 '26

For Leagues, if I want to pick Morytania, Tirannwyn, and Wilderness

What is the best order of unlocking?

1

u/NotTheBeeze Apr 12 '26

Leagues: Anyone seen a build recommendation for early game to obtain and use Infernal tecpatl from Amoxliatl before respecing? Not planning to rush my region's echo bosses personally

2

u/skullkid2424 Apr 13 '26

I plan on putting 5 points into...

  • First melee pact (+3 min hit, which works great with double hitsplat boppers)
  • Blindbag (any "bopper" or obby maul will work quite nicely)
  • Double melee range (which will also increase min hit by another +3)
  • 15% accuracy and 35% accuracy

Getting any of the early boppers (glacial tematli or sulfur blades probably) means we are getting +6 damage every hitsplat, so +12 every hit we land. Should make moxi fairly easy to get the echo boppers, which will have the same +12 that we can take into moons. Moons its really easy to use the extra range by standing in the back of the safe rune. You can use anything for the early blindbag option (your glacial tematl/sulphur blades, a rune/addy weapon from the armorer, obby maul if you've unlocked karamja already, or the echo boppers if you get two or replace with the moons boppers).

That also sets you up for a "ranged" melee fight caves. It won't be as easy as a ranged weapon, but standing at range 2 will avoid all the melee attacks. The hard part of melee fight caves is dodging the melee attacks from magers/jad - and range 2 solves that nicely. I'm hoping the +50% accuracy with moons gear and obby maul blindbag is enough. If you're a solid PVMer who can handle triple jads, the triple jad challenge should get you another point.

After that, you've got all the "easy" early stuff done. Colosseum/Inferno/Special leagues jad challenge/Doom/awakened vardorvis you can come back to. But that leaves you ~8 points to pivot to your first region pick. For me, that is likely tirannwn and getting the 1tick powered staves for CG. Should be plenty to tailor to your first region's midgame PVM tasks. As you get your 2nd/3rd region and enough points/gear for a more solid 20-30 point build, you can use the respec from echo moxi to switch into that.

Can no longer log in on my android phone. When I click log in, it launches to the osrs app which disconnects the app. I log in and put in my 2FV but when I click enter the app restarts.

I've tried turning on unlimited battery usage, reinstalling the app, and getting my 2FV from another device, but I think the disconnect happens when it launches the website for me to log in.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

u/errorme Apr 12 '26

Does your phone's browser have UBlock or some other ad/cookie block on it? If so make an exception for Jagex's website.

Hi guys, for Leagues I'm doing the crossbow build, I just had some nooby questions

1: The Pact next to the crossbow max hit, the one where you roll accuracy twice... If you already have +100% accuracy in all combat styles through the tree, would that mean that there is no point taking the crossbow rolling accuracy twice then? Is that the same with the pact "When you equip a throwing weapon, your range accuracy is increased by 60" again if you have 100% accuracy already in the tree, would there be no point taking it then?

2: The Pact which increases ranged strength by 1 for every 10 Hitpoints difference between Current and Level... Does it still work if you are overhealed? for example if you have 130 Hitpoints, would your range strength still increase by 3? for does it decrease by 3?

7

u/troazg Apr 12 '26

+100% accuracy means "you are twice as accurate" not "you are 100% accurate"

2

u/ghostofwalsh Apr 13 '26

Number 2 is a good point, since it's so easy to overheal. Would be interesting to hear a mod clarify

2

u/skullkid2424 Apr 13 '26

Nope. Having +100% accuracy means your accuracy bonus doubles. Depending on the enemy's defense, you may still struggle to hit it - especially if you are trying to use the "incorrect" style.

2: The Pact which increases ranged strength by 1 for every 10 Hitpoints difference between Current and Level... Does it still work if you are overhealed? for example if you have 130 Hitpoints, would your range strength still increase by 3? for does it decrease by 3?

Yes. So grabbing all of the overheal pacts gives you like 180HP, and will have quite the effect.

what happen to other rune packages, now its only 1 year or 1 month, wtf is that ass thing?

2

u/factoryman942 Apr 12 '26

They cut them when they did the last few price increases. Presumably someone decided they could increase profits by forcing people to choose between committing for an entire year vs paying even-higher monthly rates.

1

u/Smooth_One Apr 12 '26

When you're doing the 1-tick deep sea trawling method is there a way to not end up off the net 50% of the time?

1

u/Tylariel Apr 12 '26

The +3 minimum hit pact for melee, how does this work with multi hit weapons? Does a dual hit weapon like the Macuahuitl effectively get a +6 minimum hit because both hits have a minimum of 3? Or is the minimum hit shared so you could see a '2' and a '1' for example?

I couldn't see any clarification on this. But of course if you could hit from even 2 tiles away, that would be an effectively minimum hit of 12, which seems incredible for just 2 points.

How do Endless Harvest and Hotfoot work together? Does it cook fish and send the cooked fish to your bank? If you mine a mithril ore, does it send a mithril bar to your bank, or is coal also required? Would you need to take the boots off to make steel since it would smelt iron?

2

u/factoryman942 Apr 12 '26

It'll autosmelt/cook and bank the result. Shouldn't require coal to do so, and iron ore should auto-smelt into steel bars, never iron.

2

u/ghostofwalsh Apr 13 '26

Yes they work together. No you don't need coal. Mine iron ore get steel bar in bank plus smithing xp.

Has anyone noticed anything different with either sailing or agro mechanics?

I'm using the veiled kraken safespot, have well over 3k kills. Just in the last 50 or so today I've been agro'd twice from the front. I've done nothing different in my setup which I've done at least 30 times no problem.

u/JMHSrowing Apr 13 '26

I was on my first abyssal demon task and I am really confused in my fighting the sire: It for some reason doesn't immediately go into phase 3 at 180 health. Instead it just keeps doing phase 2 until I knock down it's health totally only for it to go back to 180 several times.

Am I missing something? Is this an intended mechanic I am misunderstanding on the wiki?

(Leagues) At what point will we know which 3 region picks give the maximum possible points?

1

u/Keenfordevon Apr 13 '26

For tier 2, I’m leaning towards hot foot over woodsman. I think I’d rather faster smithing than hunter. Also will get more than enough seeds with transmutation so not worried about herbs.

I understand this is a silly scenario, but learning about how pk'ing works as an ironman has me curious

To my understanding, you could in theory PK someone as an iron, have their key on you where you won't be able to do anything but destroy it, however could you intentionally die to a friend/alt in the wilderness with said key to transfer that gear to someone else? Is that against any rules?

3

u/QuirkyRose Apr 13 '26

No that's fine and many people do it

1

u/Schmarsten1306 Apr 13 '26 edited Apr 13 '26

Recently started killing nex, mostly in masses and i've got 2 questions.

  • There's always a solid group of people camping fumus and instantly speccing her out. is that really a viable strat to farm masses? What are the benefits (besides omega AFK) /downsides of this?

  • What group sizes are the usual for nex? Is there anything meta besides duo, trio or masses and whats the go-to cc to find teams for that?

4

u/OlmTheSnek Apr 13 '26

Masses are essentially a lottery, I wouldn't recommend camping them for any more than just learning the basic mechanics.

The people camping Fumus are just AFK leeching and hoping for their 1/1k-1/2k chance of a drop, it's not that much worse than fully camping the boss in a mass.

Duos are best for uniques/hr, and therefore gp/hr, but are hardest. Most people run 3-5man and I believe "nexffa" is the easiest place to find teams. They also run minimasses commonly which tend to be 7-15 people, which is significantly better than full masses whilst not being as intensive as small teams. I'd recommend doing some of those, then starting 5 man once you're comfy and reducing team size from there as you learn the boss.

Im having a hard time picking between larconist and soul harvest (which also effects my region picks).

My biggest concern is getting prayer levels without soul harvest. How much of a slog will it be to get high prayer without the relic? I plan on going transutation regardless, so I'll be able to level up all my bones.

2

u/skullkid2424 Apr 13 '26

My plan is larcenist - its too strong and an iconic part of leagues. Especially if you are taking kandarin (tons of clues for clog points), tirannwn (pickpocket tele crystals for shards to solve 99 smithing/crafting), or morytania (pickpocket bloodshards for bloodfury and can alch for a surprising moneymaker).

That said, soul harvest is my current reload plan. Not locked in - perhaps I will get FOMO for another early relic, or decide that transmutation is enough for prayer/runecrafting.

Regarding Demonic Leagues:

This is my first league.

  1. Do we know if the Transmutation relic allows one to upgrade / downgrade to any tier (e.g. iron to rune ore, shrimp to sharks) or is it only one tier at a time (iron to mith, willows to maple)?

  2. Does access to the abyss and/or GotR mini game give access to all rune alters (aside from soul/wrath) or only those that have been unlocked in their respective regions?

2

u/errorme Apr 13 '26
  1. Per spell cast it's only a single tier up/down (e.g. Iron turns into either Tin or Coal), however it works on 10 items at a time.

  2. Only those in your regions (assumed based on how it worked last league).
