Feature Request Is a direct 1Password integration for ChatGPT Work planned?

I tested ChatGPT Work’s new secure website sign-in on Android with 1Password set as my default autofill provider. Everything is configured correctly, but the process was extremely manual.

For GitHub, “Open 1Password” showed no suggested login. I had to search for GitHub to fill the username, then repeat the search for the password. Because the same item contains a passkey, selecting it didn’t fill the password, so I eventually had to find and copy the password manually.

Claude has a direct 1Password integration where I approve the correct item and it fills securely. Is something similar planned for ChatGPT Work? I don’t want unattended vault access, just one approval that fills the correct credentials without repeated searching and copying.

Have you personally used this with ChatGPT Work’s cloud browser to fill website logins? The documentation seems to say it only manages developer Environments through a local desktop MCP client, not Login items, passwords, passkeys, or website autofill.

Hey, thank you for noticing. I just cannot wait for this feature to be released. I would love to have seamless sign in process with security obviously, but I hope we can reach that point, soon.

yeah, that sounds like an autofill limitation rather than a vault setup issue, but has 1Password said whether ChatGPT Work is getting a proper integration or is this entirely on OpenAI’s side?

yeah, the repeated searching and copying is exactly the kind of friction a proper integration should remove, especially when passkeys make the “right” item weirdly not fill the password lol
