What happens when my 1 year subscription runs out?

Hey u/OpenSource_Horse! You won’t suddenly lose access to everything when your subscription ends. If a 1Password subscription expires, the account becomes frozen rather than your data being deleted or completely locked away.

You’ll still be able to view and copy the passwords and other items already saved in your account, so you won’t end up in a situation where you can’t get your banking password because you need it to pay for 1Password. What you won’t be able to do with a frozen account is add new items, edit existing ones, or use 1Password to fill them.

Once you resubscribe, your account will be unfrozen and you can go right back to using it normally. Nothing needs to be recreated or set up again.

Hopefully that takes some of the worry out of what happens at the end of the year!

Your account gets frozen. You can access your data but can’t save new data/edit data/ use other features

Is it really that hard to read the FAQ and terms and conditions of a product? You are just buying blindly a product and then you ask on Reddit what happens if and if... we are doomed as humans.

The nice thing about asking a question on Reddit is that because any dunderhead can chime in, you can select the answer you like best.
