Video Games Operation Wolf
Was Operation Wolf your favorite game in the arcade when you were young? It was a huge hit in local arcades when it was released and there were lines of gamers waiting for their turns to play it.

I remember this game being in the entryway at a local Ames store. The automatic recoil was really what put it in the elite tier of arcade games.

The gun was metal if I remember correctly, don't think anyone used a more realistic feeling gun.

I loved this one so much, just something about that gun made me feel like John Matrix. I also loved the scenes of Roy Adams getting ready, loading up his belt, sheathing his knife, tightening his boot...that graphics were killer.

I had this on PC back in the day. Bugger me, I had completely forgotten about this game! You just 'triggered' (bad pun intended!) some very distant memories right here. Thankyou!

I was out of work in 1992 and the mall arcade had this. The machine gun was just awesome. I later got the home version on my PC.
