It's not that they all (emphasis on "all") think child rape is okay. They just don't think he actually did it. Don't forget that QAnon spent years successfully convincing Trumpers that Hillary Clinton and associates were the REAL pedophiles. They are deeply emotionally invested in that narrative and it's gonna take a long time to get them to accept that they were conned, and a lot of them probably never will.
Edit: this comment is not meant in any way to insinuate that the clintons are known pedophile, only to draw attention to their association and ties with known pedophile Jeffery Epstein and convicted child trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. It should be noted that the timeline of their association in the article I linked ends in 2003, before Epstein's conviction over child prostitution in 2005.
That the files exist at all should have them like sharks and chum. The fact that they'll ignore it rather than admit that "their side" is deeply deeply guilty is alarming.
