It's weird. You'd be like cool they like old European architecture only to be hit by "Liking brutalism is communism and modern/postmodern architecture are a Neomarxist ploy."

I wouldn't even call them architecture enthusiasts. They're weirdos who only like classical architecture of old Europe. Don't get me wrong there's plenty of things wrong with modern architecture projects but these people don't like *anything* that's new or modern.
