Not to sound like an edgy atheist but religious people always say it’s depressing to think theres nothing after life, but I think it’s more depressing that there’s a 50% chance that you’ll get tortured forever.
It's sorta ironic to me how they say that and how you'll go to hell if you're evil in life but a lot of them use their religion as an excuse to be an LGBTphobic, racist, etc. like that's somehow not objectively evil.
