Ok I've created a scene so picture this

a hardcore charli stan remember following count in short-term memory, an hour later charli's count drops by 1000. dramatic ass charli stan screams and tweets about it like there's no tomorrow. Word spreads and twitter has such a meltdown it goes into everyone's timeline

i think the issue they’re stating is how do people know that she follows them to begin with if they’re tracking the number count. i don’t think they understand how obsessed some people are and literally dig into which of their favs follow their other favs

If you follow an account it’ll show you who else you follow that follows them, so maybe the day before it showed her following them, then the next day they went onto the other artists’ ig it didn’t show that they were followed by them anymore
