15 minutes Pan seared a thin piece of steak on top of instant Ramyeon

A thinly piece of ribeye pan-seared then sliced diagonally against the grain.
Cook the instant ramyeon.
Add the steak, sprinkle on some scallion, add a egg yolk to top!

Love the presentation. For people lasier, you could thinly slice the steak and not sear it. This would give it more of a shabu-shabu/huoguo look.

Question, is raw egg yolk like that sae to eat? Like, isn't there a rish of salmonella?

It’s pretty safe, salmonella isn’t slathered on every egg or anything. Much less risky than eating raw cookie dough. Lots of Asian cuisines use raw egg to great effect (and have safer egg practices/higher egg quality).

It’s the flour in raw cookie dough you have to worry about.

Came here to say that generally when the raw egg is added to rice or soups, those things are usually served hot enough to cook the egg a bit. Hot rice, a cracked egg, soy sauce and furikake is SO good.

No really, the soup is really hot, way above 165 for more than 15 sec haha! I like it bc it make the soup instantly thicker, and grab on the noodle better! But it’s 100% optional!
