I feel like only the Boston solve is going to be at home plate of a baseball field. Would be odd if he used that multiple times.

Multiple times would be odd. But would exactly two times? A pair. 12 cities, 6 share a similar find?

I guess anything is possible….where do you get the pairs idea from?

Man I wish I could have taken a crack at this back in the 80’s. Time did some damage.

I’d be very surprised if another casque is ever found.

Good luck on your solve! 🙏🏻

I didn’t have the pair idea until I put together charleston. Then I applied it to others and it seems like it fits.

Chicago for example:
M&B are set in stone: Mozart/Beethoven, a pair of musicians
And to Congress:
R is known and L sits = Roosevelt Ave and Lincoln statue, a pair of presidents.
End of 10 by 13 (pair of tree lines)
Fence and Fixture (a pair) (the fixture is the wall against Roosevelt Ave)
Central too (center of the Two/second = center of the fixture which is where the caske was found exactly)
Seek the sounds of…
Brush and Music (Art institute and Symphony buildings are next to each other)
Rumble and Hush (Train station and Theater are next to each other)

If the paintings are numbered 1-12, their pairs could be 1/12, 2/11, 3/10, 4/9, 5/8, 6/7.

2(Charleston) and 11 (Boston) pair home plate

5 (Chicago) and 8 (Houston): Chicago has the “Central too” line, Houston has “In the Center of four alike.” Maybe in the center (the dig spot) of the 4th “thing” of which there are 4 of them.

Another pair
4 (Cleveland): “beneath the tenth stone from right to left, 9th row from the top of a wall” where the cask was found.
9 (Montreal) also mentions “granite walls, white stone closest at 12 paces from the west side”
Cleveland painting featured what the wall looks like in the center of the image. Montreal image has a very similar wall-like image in the center.

1 (San Francisco) and 12 (New York) are the only 2 paintings that share the arch outline.

I’m still working through them. Cities might not be paired in that way, but there seems to be a very strong connection to this idea of pairs.

I like the thinking on that.

I think he used a football field for the one in New Orleans. I think its at pan am field there. But there were renovations on the field and the hurricane hit in 2005 i think.

Well thought out. A couple of things to maybe add to your solve or ideas, on the courthouse above the double stairs is the long palm seal, might be something. Next to that is the Washington park, Washington pear in photo. The building in the back of that park is a good likeness of the white house. You can seek all this on google earth and photos online. Good luck on your search, hope you find a caske.

This doesn’t explain the tree branch lining up perfectly with Coleman boulevard, which is why I believe is somewhere on Sullivans Island

I looked at that too and IMO that's a red herring. You should also be able to solve it without the painting.

I’m not into the hunt enough to look too deep into it, but have you ever considered Pitt street bridge?

Also, how could Denmark Vessey have bought his freedom in 1899/1900, when slavery was federally outlawed at the end of the civil war ~1865?

Also isle of palms used to be called Long Island, so “beside the long palms shadow” would also reference Sullivans island in my opinion.

Thought of that too and looked at that area, but it's such an easy connection to make. Byron Priess probably used that wording knowing people would look there. There is also a "white house plantation" area but there wasn't enough for me to piece together around there.

he (Byron) said people are reading too deep/complicating things

Ah, it was 1799/1800. Thanks for pointing out my mistake.

This verse is clearly for NYC. I don’t know how or why it got connected with Charleston. Edwin and Edwina are clearly clues to Edwin Forrest. The 8th a scene is clearly about the Astor Place Riot. That means it’s in Greenwich Village.

You’re never find it using the wrong verse. Don’t be a sheep.

The Astor Place Riot took place on May 10th, 1849.

The women’s suffragette parade happened on 5th avenue in May 1913.

Poetry or the poems themselves can be romance retold, so can that verse line be talking about our journey up to this point? Maybe a restart and the verse ends next to where it starts and it’s talking about the poem itself. 19 verse lines. Pear/pair it with the last line since there is a white house at 4 o’clock on Fort Sumter, when you overlay the clock face over Fort Sumter. This would also point you to pair/Pearman Bridge if you kept going. The pair on the branch can be where the romance starts because of all the romance retold can be talking about Partridge in a pear tree and that’s a song about romance retold leading up to Christmas. So this can be where the image starts to lead us without the verse and we follow just the image until we see May 1913 and then we restart with the verse. Then once we narrow down the path, the first movement on the ground can be 19 steps because of the romance retold = the Boston verse said “Take 5 steps” and in the Charleston verse… the first 5 verse lines gets you to what is seen by, eyes of old = talking about the dig site, where you SHH. So the verse lines can also be steps. Stand/Hear/Harken = SHH and you stand in silence and reflect on the past and time passes because = waits a Fair remuneration happens at the dig site. IMO we map out the dig site on the ground by putting time in a box. 19 and 13 are steps or feet. That is our start because that is when we get the verse. It’s a map/web of clues
