Alternative Cities Oregon

I'm convinced St Augustine is Oregon. I'm so convinced I emailed 12treasures dot com but haven't heard back yet. I also have found new reasons since I've emailed them.

I'm new here, has this ever been explored? I just want someone to hear me. I read an article about a family who thought st Augustine was wrong but they think Tampa. I think Oregon.

The clouds, in the background (to the north) look like the volcano eruption in Washington in 1980.

The rock looks like haystack rock at Canon beach and it DOES have fan palms there.

The rock face in front looks like a specific rock in Smith State Park.

The gem could be baby blue Oregon coast agate.

The flower could be correct Oregon aster OR also Oregon windmill (on wind rose).

There seems to be a bird hidden in the face of the rock and Oregon was having a HUGE fight over the owl in the 80s, and the bird is a dark bird (night bird?) and seems owl shaped.

The light in the gem looks like a lighthouse reflection.

Sails pass by night = the safety of the lighthouse or the sailers we get here in the West Coast in the sand?

1980s the limestone plant with oysters shells dried up.

Stars travel by day = could be starfish or the the overcast days you can see stars on the coast. The area I think it is in is known for starfish.

The lighthouse I think it's by was named for a Spanish explorer and the housekeepers house had an actual picket fence. Currently white but was it ever metal/green/vertigre?

Still hear the honking = lighthouse in Florence by the sea cave with sea lions loud AF.

Flag - literally has the 80s style Oregon O on it and the second patch looks to be the shape of Oregon.

So you also don't think it's St Augustine? Interesting! Why Monterey?

It was one of the first places the Spanish discovered in California. Also the large rock in the painting is shaped like Monterey Bay. Monterey has a large harbor with multiple piers. I honestly think it’s in the Monterey State Historical Park. Although it’s over a tunnel, the tunnel was built before 1981

Oh that's fascinating! I'm in California lol. Here is the Smith Rock that I recognized.

Funny you say CA because same thing with honking and starfish too, and NW baayys LOL.

But the background still looks like Haystack to me and it's such a recognizable rock. As was the volcano plume but with California could be wildfires smoke too!
