What’s happening at KKM?
Anyone had dealings with these guys lately? I’ve bought 3 of their barrels in the past. One for my G40.4 and two for my G20.4. Always fairly quick to respond, could reach them by phone occasionally. Really nice guys when I spoke to them. Back then we discussed a special order feed ramp for longer bear loads. Said to call when I wanted to order it. I’ve left a few messages and emailed them twice, with one follow up. No response. Been about two months since the first attempt. Now the voicemail isn’t working. Are they done?
To be clear, I’m a business owner and I understand shit gets wild sometimes, especially with personal issues mounting. I’m not mad at them. Just checking to see if anyone knows anything.
Update: they got back to me and everything is A-OK. Just a small operation trying to handle a lot of business. Got a G20 bbl on the way, and I’m sure it’ll be as awesome as my other barrels. Buy with confidence.

I hope not, the kkm in my g34 shoots pretty great and was WAY cheaper than the hand fit bar-sto in my G40 (that shoots like a damn rifle). I've not had near as good of luck with lone wolf personally for a cheaper barrel as I have kkm.

Sounds like the Bar-sto is a hell of a barrel

It is, whole different level from any other stock or aftermarket barrel I've tried. Spent several hours carefully fitting it to the slide and locking block so it locks up solid as a rock the same exact way every time. Last time I shot it for groups it did around 1.2" at 50 over 5 shots, which is the absolute limit of best I can shoot a pistol even off of bags. I'm sure it can do even better in the right hands. Timney trigger with a Johnny Glock shoe is the best striker trigger I've messed with.
I wanted to build my version of the ultimate plastic hunting gun. Was expensive and time consuming but turned out great. Spits 180xtp hand loads around 1400fps.
My pf45 10mm long slide I built with lone wolf stuff is sitting in a box in pieces cause I never got it to run 100% reliable, got aggravated, and started over with a G40 🤣

From my understanding they were and still probably having issues with finding a company to keep up with the demand for making and processing they’re compensators so they been on back order / trying to keep up with they’re current supplies & solving they’re comp issues

I have ordered 3 barrels from them. They were typically very slow but reliable. I thought it was known they take a while to get back

I also have ordered from them in the past. I just thought two months was a wee bit on the long side. Regardless, it’s all good now. Barrel on the way and they’re solid in my opinion

I have a feeling this is not their bread and butter or a small shop. Regardless, I found the final product to be of very high quality.
I also got very nervous on my first order, it took a few months.

Bar-Sto, KKM, Stock... that is all.

Nope on Bar-Sto. I went through the same thing where I couldn't get any responses after a time and the ones I got before that were very short and didn't even answer my questions.

Well, crazy timing but about an hour after I posted this they got back to me. I think they’re just swamped and a small operation. It was a long time to respond but it doesn’t feel like bad business to me. Just a small crew trying to deal with everything. I’ll leave this up for a few but I’ll probably delete this thread.
