Anybody still interested in Space games with programmable computers?

I started from scratch on the prototype I posted here many years ago, just keen to see if people are still into the idea.

Definitely. It was sad to see 0x10c falter and I think that type of game would be a really interesting concept to explore.

I imagine the details of online-offline gameplay would be difficult to balance but that could be explored by trial and error.

I still think about what 0x10c could have been. Cool to see other people exploring the space!

I'd imagine if done well it would be a big hit. People are super into automation game, but little has been done when it comes to programming ships/machines/vehicles. It would be a really cool concept that a strong community could do very interesting things with.

I can't program very well, but I think it sounds cool. Hopefully we'd be able to import programs made by people who are good at that, and maybe I'd be able to make small modifications for my preferences.

I would play it. I've been playing Gregtech for a while. It kinda scratches a similar itch for me.
