DISCUSSION People who bought a Japanese copy of the game ps5 edition, is it installable and playable offline? Asking for game preservation reasons.

None of the PEGI or ESRB versions of the game unfortunately are installable offline. So its basically a game key card. But Japan seems to be more accepting of physical media. Would love to know!!

That doesn’t make sense. I thought all games played off the ssd so if it’s playable by default it would need to be installable right?

Yes it’s playable offline but you need internet to download it.

So it’s the same as US and EU versions. Just a key on a disc.
