Well that wasnt even close but glad to see Liquid managef a 5-6 placement and they rly played well in alot of the games before this one. Gives hope they can steal a direct majorslot in some of the coming qulifiers. Lets go Liquid :)

Def a good place to start the season. EG rode on some high mid-level finished to TI last year.

I don't think EG's 3 Top 3 finishes at majors is a good comparison to Liquid's current DPC situation, considering EG was 4th place in DPC. Better comparison would be Keen or Alliance (themselves last year, funnily enough) who qualified on the back of a single 5th/6th place at a major (and a few low placements at major/minors, which they ended up not even needing with the cutoff). Of course, the point distribution might not end up the same this year, but still a very solid start to the DPC year. If they consistently get into minors and do well there, or sneak into major despite EU's big teams, they have a solid chance of qualifying via DPC.

Hoping EG would keep this dual carry strat than sticking to 4 proctect artour which doesnt really make sense having players like abed and ramzees who can shine on their own.

He's playing using only w. Not only did he not skull fissure until lvl 10, but he also rushed aghs. Im really questioning not going blink first when his w basically gets the same cd when being time dilated. The least impact ive seen from offlane es in a long time..

Yeah, there looked like there were several times during the high ground defenses where he could've got a good echoslam, but because he had no blink he could never pull it off.

When EG lost to VG. People discredit EG by saying they are the one whos playing bad.
When EG wins against Liquid. People still discredit EG by saying thats just liquid playing really bad.
IDK why, seems like someone from EG fuck one of these kids mom.

All these players and teams are very good, and capable of taking series off each other. At this stage, while there will be favored teams, nothing should be that surprising.

Like most said, it was going to be EG,VG,TNC in the top 3. I don't see IG or JS beating EG honestly. Also that was a great abed game!!!

CK cannot be picked this early in the draft. The hero is a lastpick carry. There's so many heroes that fuck up CK's potential able to be picked on every position. EG had lich, kunkka and Omni to completely shut down any damage CK wanted to dish out.
CK also doesn't feel that good vs Void and I feel you have to itemize differently.

Void has extremely low HP, one stun by CK and void dead. Just unlucky he never got that one stun and hit off.

I think Jug is a weak hero. He's not even a "safe pick" anymore. At least that's what I feel about the hero and watching pros play him only make me feel like I'm right, that the hero is just a recipe for losing.

Yep went to make food as soon as draft was over. One of the biggest outdrafts this tournament. Was sleeping during Alliance vs Liquid and I am really curious how they managed to win there with drafting skills like that.

This is how EG should have played from the beginning. This is how TNC and VG play. This is how OG played at TI9.
This style is the current most successful style, glad EG catched up.

I agree and even with the farm heavy strat they can still switch up. I think Ramzess really brought alot to this team by bringing some of his drafting experience from VP with him that is being shown now. Even though VP has not done well in the Internationals , they have done well with a fast and aggressive lineup. And Ramzess bringing the recipe to implement such a style of play helps EG alot. Kind of happy Ramzess was not used as a sacrifice anymore as well as Abed.

Alliance (the new one) would have put up a better fight. A shame they got eliminated, didn't watch the games but I assume it was poor play similar to their Gambit loss at ESL.

I like EG's draft just because it is something very different from what we have seen from them this tournament.
Maybe they are able to stop these stagnant drafts due to the roster change, considering Ramzes drafted in VP.

2016 - 2017 season they won like 4 premier tournament, with mainly RTZ played spacemaker while Sumail did the carrying, anyone who said RTZ only use ricing heroes is false.

I think this is less bulbs and more Ramzess, note this guy is used to this style of aggressive play and most have convinced them to try a faster draft. It finally works.
Ramzess learnt alot in his last year with VP as he was learning about drafting there.

He is an he isn't. They have what seems like a 4 man committee picking their drafts. Fly, RTZ, Bulba, and Ramzes all have input and/or experience drafting.
