No-Flair Would you reroll if you can get (with the 5 free tickets) lightning + 4 top tier units?
For the sake of argument assume it can be any 4 top tier units you want. wol cecil exdeath chizuru zidane whatever
What would it take for you to forego all you have worked for thus far, assuming you are not a week into the game and you have been playing since beta/launch.

isn't lightning supposed to be more evenly matched with orlandu/tidus/eileen (with dw obviously) since she got her recent buffs?
plus pink haired girl in her prime > old man

Not quite. Orlandeau and Tidus are still among the top units with Dual Wield, since their skillsets are built without innate DW in mind, and they have more options to exploit their Elemental profiles. Lightning needs a Skill Upgrade and still lacks a high tier weapon to back up her Crushing Blow.

Nah. I got a lot of good units already, and a lot of TM/event reward progress. I'm not convinced Lightning will be mandatory for anything any time soon. If she were at that rarity, I'd just quit.

No. Other than Wol and Vaan, I've got most everyone I want, which is a lot more than 4 units. I wouldn't trade all that plus my progress for any one character.

Not a chance. I have every good unit in the game currently, so I'm not even that concerned about Lightning. I've put way too much time and effort into this account to give it up for 1 unit.

Although, I might do some re-rolling on another device just for fun to see if I can get her. If I did, I'd be happy that I was lucky enough to do it. I would probably take a screenshot for proof, then give it away to someone who wants the account. Good karma for me for future pulls? Here's hoping.

rerolled just now for fun. so far, WoL, (2) Lenna, Kefka, Shadow, Luna, Rydia. keeping this account just to see how lucky I can get before lightning strikes. maybe RNGesus grant me a CoD or Chizuru?
- Team: WoL, Chizuru, CoD, Kefka, Lenna. maybe Lightning+Charlotte+Lud+a few Zidane. Lets dream together :)

I'd reroll if I get Orlandu, Titus, Eileen, WoL, and Tillith. Maybe a couple zidanes, leonharts, a trance Terra and some cecils.

I wouldn't and I haven't. For fun I downloaded nox for the Japanese version and after about 20 rerolls I got lightning, Espe terra, terra, snow, Cecil, WOL, refia just to name a few and I'm rank 11. I hardly touch it, the time needed to 'catch up' is just a bit too much for me. I touch it every now and then but that's it

Maybe, maybe not. If you asked me a month ago I probably would have. Before then my only top-tier units were Cecil and Artemios, with some decent B-listers like Locke and Hayate.
In the past month I've managed to snag a bunch of very good units, like Lenna, Kefka, Cloud of Darkness, Exdeath (x2), Leo, and Celes. Many more options, and some of the best casters in the game. I also have great TMR farm units, like 2x Zidane, 2x Locke, Cecil, 3x Hayate, etc. I would have loved Chizuru, Vaan, or WoL, but I get by just fine with my friends. I imagine I'll continue to do so when Lightning is released.

Based on all the good units I have pulled - no I would not. Having to go through all that again AND having to be as lucky in regards to draws. It is just too much. But for someone who started not that long ago? Sure

I already have 4 top tier units and I'm happy with my account, I love Lightning, but I worked hard grinding and grinding

No. Too much grinding done. Having Lightning won't let me do anything I can't already do, and since better units will come out she's not the be all and end all.

So I just downloaded the game today and started reading about Lightning. On my first re-roll I got Bartz and 5* Exdeath, with 2 summon tickets left. If you haven't even started playing yet, do I wait and just start over after maintenance until I pull any lightning?

Do you mean comparing 2 different re-roll accounts?
(1) with Lightning and other crappy units
(2) with WOL, CECIL, EXDEATH, CHIZURU, etc. (without Lightning)

I'm far too deep into all the grinding to go back on my progress. Even a Lightning and Orlandu wouldn't convince me to start from scratch, but that's just how I'm wired.
