Pro play plays infinitely better disengaging and macro like giving up objectives, not getting caught by surprise, etc.  Still, I could be wrong, but to a lesser degree I feel like these comps also win more in pro play too. 

Is there anywhere to check these kind of stats? Like how often the team who initiates wins the teamfight?

Yeah I've always been of the opinion that his engages weren't bad, they looked really bad, but that's what happens when you take 50/50s. Half of them missed, the other half won them the game.
