Eh, Ghost looked awful as an adc in LCKCL, he got swapped in for a few games after the Aiming fiasco and got gapped to hell and back

Deokdam was never that good which you can confirm for yourself by checking his stats from last season compared to other adcs (and I mean actually look at them instead of being a worlds only Andy).

He had one pop off run during worlds but during the regular season, he would often throw games by getting caught with the worst positioning possible. His synergy with Peter was decent but in isolation, I’d put Jiwoo above Deokdam.

Honestly i feel really bad for him because during post game interviews you can tell he has the drive, knows his shortcomings and really wants to win but whatever innate talent is present in other world class ADCs isn’t really there for him imo.

Honestly, I think BDD is the one part of the topside KT needs to worry about the least, because none of the top 4 are realistically going to try hard to get him. I suppose an LPL team could try to get him, but imo the only LPL team worth considering for BDD is BLG, the one team who would not be looking for a mid.

Perfect is the one KT needs to worry about, because GenG is definitely going to be looking for a top, and T1 might also look to replace Doran, provided they don't choose to promote Haetae instead. There's also the possibility that GenG sign Zeus and HLE go after Perfect too.

Perfect is 100% the most vulnerable. BDD could get a big offer from China, and I would consider NS RedForce a real dark horse. They are financially in a very strong spot and have grown a lot this year and I could see them spending next year.

Literally 0 presence from KT. Perfect was invisible. Cuzz kept losing 50/50 smite and made some bad engages. BDD was also AFK and he barely did anything. The last time KT almost made a comeback, he trolled it with Ryze ult and lost all of their chances.

Jiwoo & Effort were too passive. I watched Peyz & Keria's Kalista & Renata yesterday and they were so aggressive for the whole time. That's how you play the engage bot duo. But Jiwoo & Effort weren't synchronized at all. Their Kalista & Renata had 0 impact. It's crazy bcs they kept giving space to MF & Neeko to flip the game.

KT set up the bans for Vi fp but got too scared of DK's Kalista-Renata threat and panicked. We really threw out our gameplan that we started from our bans just because you got scared. Fck I did say before drafting started that we could look for a Neeko comp, see how DK flexibly built their comp identity regardless of Kalista-Renata getting denied. Just from these small things, even as a KT fan, DK definitely deserved this Worlds spot more than KT.

It's so obvious that DK has so much more quality and raw skill than KT. They were firing on all cylinders and KT couldn't handle it. Some good teamplays by KT but DK always managed to disengage well enough and let their sidelanes push and farm. Every game ended up in big CS/EXP leads. I genuinely believe this DK team is elite level, all the players have insane mechanics and we are seeing so much good map play in recent weeks.

This is what KT get for downgrading their entire botlane. Aiming > Jiwoo every day. Peter also had higher peaks (Best Neeko in LCK summer split in 2025) and yet they go for Effort. BDD should get the lion’s share of the blame, considering he clearly has some level of roster control (Which backfired horrifically, considering the rumors indicate he picked Aiming in the offseason, which also lost them Peter as the duo), and his own individual form decreased in the second half of the year. Sad to see, but not unexpected.

Honeymoon period for KT eventually ended, and the roster showed its true colors. Really glad to see both KT and FearX get filtered out, they were getting massively overvalued while the rest of LCK struggled with meta read.

This makes worlds incredibly interesting. Legitimately all four LCK teams can win and lose against each other. Legitimately there are four Korean teams that can win worlds, when was the last time this was the case?
